農業係 高等學校 學生들의 進路指導 改善方案에 關한 硏究 = (A) study on the plans for improvement of career planning guidance for the agricultural high school students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 농업계 고등학교의 학생들의 진로교육실태와 진로의식구조를 분석하여 진로지도의 개선방안을 모색하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다.
위와 같은 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 설정하였다.
첫째, 농업계 고등학교 학생들의 진로교육 실태는 어떠한가?
둘째, 농업계 고등학교 학생들의 진로의식은 어떠한가?
셋째, 농업계 고등학교 학생들의 진로지도 개선 방안은 무엇인가?
본 연구를 위해 선행연구와 이론적 배경을 기초로 설문지를 작성하여, 울산광역시, 부산광역시, 경상남도 농업계 고등학교 학생 300명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 Mintab 13 프로그램을 이용하여 통계처리 하였으며 검증에서 사용한 통계적 유의 수치는 p<.05, p<.01, p<.001로 하였다.
이상의 연구 방법을 통하여 얻은 연구결과에 기초한 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 농업계 고등학교에서 올바른 진로교육은 거의 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 자신의 적성이나 흥미에 알맞거나 뚜렷한 동기가 있어서 농업계 고등학교에 진학한 학생들은 학교의 진로지도보다도 더욱더 전문성을 가지고 있는 곳에서 진로정보를 얻는 반면, 중학교 성적에 의해서 농업계 고등학교에 진학한 학생들은 주로 선배나 친구에게서 불확실한 정보를 얻는데 그치고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
이는 농업계 고등학교 학생들에게 올바른 진로지도를 하기 위해서는 중학교 진학시부터 본인의 적성과 흥미를 고려한 진학지도가 이루어져야하고, 성적 때문에 불가피하게 농업계 고등학교에 진학한 상당수의 학생들에게도 전문적인 진로지도 프로그램이 마련되어 올바른 진로지도가 이루어질 수 있도록 해야한다는 것을 의미한다.
둘째, 자신의 적성이나 흥미를 잘 알고 있으면서도 경제적으로 잘 살고, 자녀의 진로지도에 관심이 높은 학부모를 둔 학생들은 목표의식이 뚜렷하며, 직업 선택 시 인생목표를 고려한다고 응답한 학생이 많았다.
이는 경제적으로 낮은 수준이나 인생목표 설정이 미흡한 학생들에 대한 배려가 시급한 실정임을 보여준다. 농업계 고등학교 학생들의 진로목표가 명확하지 않은 상태에서 남이 대학에 진학하니까 나도 대학에 진학한다는 사고 방식을 가지고 있는 것 같다. 의지가 약하고 학부모나 선생님에게 의존하는 학생들에 대한 올바른 진로지도가 필요하다고 하겠다.
셋째, 농업계 고등학교에서 진로교육의 실태를 정확히 파악하여 학교자체의 진로상담 개선책이 절실히 필요한 때인 것 같다. 학부모의 직업이 상업계열인 학생들은 다른 학생들에 비해 진로지도에 높은 관심을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
이는 학부모직업이 노동·노무자라 할지라도 자신이 원하는 분야에 적극성과 흥미를 가지고 준비할수록 전문 상담실을 이용하여 자신의 고민을 해결하는 것이 바람직한 방향이 될 것임을 시사하고 있다. 자신의 진로결정은 단시간에 이루어질 수 있는 것이 아니므로 농업고등학교에 진학한 학생들에게 올바른 진로를 선택할 수 있도록 체계적이고도 전문적인 진로교육 프로그램을 마련하여 올바른 미래를 준비할 수 있는 진로지도 개선방안이 보다 많이 연구되어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was designed to find improvement Plans for career planning guidance by analyzing the actual status of assisting the students attending agricultural high school to select their courses and their structures of consciousness of career planning.
To achieve the above purpose, following questions have been raised.
First, what is the actual status of assisting those students who are attending agricultural high school to select their courses?
Second, what does the agricultural high school students' consciousness look like?
Third, what is the improvement Plans of the career planning of the agricultural high school students?
For this study, the questionnaire designed for 300 students of Ulsan Metropolitan City, Busan Metropolitan City and Southern Gyeongsang Province has been made based on the previous studies and theoretical background. The collected data was statistically analyzed using the Plans, Mintab 13 and the significant figures used in the test were p<. 05, p<. 01, and p<. 001.
The conclusions based on the study results obtained through the above research method are as follows:
First, the present situation in agricultural high schools is that the career planning guidance appropriate to the students is hardly provided. It was known that those students who had entered the high school according to their aptitude and interest, and with a clear motive tended to get the necessary information from more reliable source rather than the school, while those students who had been forced to enter the school because of their bad records in middle school were confined to mainly get inaccurate information from seniors or friends.
This indicates that the students should be encouraged to choose high school considering their aptitude and interest from the earlier period in order to lead the agricultural high school students to the right direction of their future ahead, and in case of those students who had to enter the agricultural high school because of their bad records, special assistance Plans to help their career planning should be prepared so that the proper guidance could be provided.
Second, many of the students, who are fully aware of their aptitude and interest and have financially stable parents with high interest in them, responded that they have clear goal and consider goal of life in selecting a job.
This shows that urgent consideration for the students whose economic condition is poor and goal of life isn't yet decided clearly should be required. It seems that the agricultural high school students with uncertain goals have a way of thinking that they should go on to university only because others do so. It is necessary that those students who have weak will and are dependent of their parents or teachers should be guided to right direction of designing their future ahead.
Third, it is time that the school itself should make improvement plan of career planning counseling after grasping the actual status of career planning guidance in agricultural high school. It was found that those students whose parents engage in commerce have more interest in career planning guidance compared with other students. This suggests that the more students prepare themselves for the field they want with positiveness and interest although their parents are laborers, the more desirable solutions they find through special counseling. Since planning one's future ahead cannot be made in short period of time, more studies on systematic and special improvement Plans for career planning guidance that enables the agricultural high school students to select right life goal should be followed.
