대학생의 진로스트레스와 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 감내력 부족의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effects of Intolerance of Uncertainty between Career Stress and Psychological Well-Being of Undergraduate Students

The purpose of this study was to investigate mediating effects of intolerance of uncertainty between career stress and psychological well-being of university students. The subjects were 219 university students. They were assessed by The Intolerance of uncertainty Scale, and Career stress Scale, Psychological Well-Being Scale. SPSS 18.0 was used for implementing a correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results showed as follows: First, career stress and psychological well-being showed a significant negative correlations. And career stress had a significant positive correlations with intolerance of uncertainty. And intolerance of uncertainty had a significant negative correlations with psychological well-being. Second, intolerance of uncertainty mediated partly the relations between career stress and psychological well-being. Finally, suggestions for the limitations of this study and ideas for further research are discussed and proposed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 진로스트레스와 심리적 안녕감과의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 감내력 부족의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 부산광역시에 소재한 2개 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 219명을 대상으로 이루어졌고, 진로스트레스, 불확실성에 대한 감내력 부족, 심리적 안녕감 척도를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였으며, 상관분석과 단순회귀분석 및 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하여 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로스트레스는 불확실성에 대한 감내력 부족과 정적으로, 심리적 안녕감과 부적으로 유의한 상관을 나타내었고, 불확실성에 대한 감내력 부족은 심리적 안녕감과 부적으로 유의한 상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 불확실성에 대한 감내력 부족은 대학생의 진로스트레스와 심리적 안녕감을 부분 매개하였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 대학생의 진로스트레스가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 부정적 영향을 감소시키는 데 있어서, 대학생의 불확실성에 대한 감내력을 높이는 것이 유용할 것으로 파악되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점 그리고 후속연구를 위한 제언이 논의되었다.
