부모 간 폭력목격경험이 청소년의 비행에 미치는 영향에서 공격성, 우울 및 TSL표현 효과 = Impact of Witnessing Parental Violence on Juvenile Delinquency －Examining the Effect of Aggression, Depression and TSL Expression－

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 부모 간 폭력목격경험이 비행에 이르는 경로에 공격성과 우울의 매개효과 및 TSL(Thank, Sorry, Love) 표현의 조절효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 여성가족부의 .2010년 전국가정폭력 실태조사. 중 ‘아동 및 청소년 가정폭력 실태조사’의 1,015명을 대상으로 구조방정식 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 부모 간 폭력목격경험은 공격성(p<.001)과 우울(p<.001)을 매개하여 지위비행(p<.001)과 폭력비행(p<.001)에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 공격성은 직접적으로 지위비행과 폭력비행을 유발하였으나 우울은 폭력비행을 증가시키는 직접적인 효과가 사라지고 지위비행(p<.01)을 경유하여 폭력비행을 증가시키는 간접 효과만 나타났다. 셋째, TSL표현 집단의 다집단 분석결과 부모가 자녀에게 TSL을 주 1회 미만으로 표현하는 가정은 부모 간 폭력목격경험이 공격성과 우울 및 지위 비행과 폭력비행에 지속적으로 영향을 미치고 있었다. 반면 주 1회 이상 부모가 자녀에게 TSL을 표현하는 가정은 부모 간 폭력목격으로 청소년들의 공격성과 우울이 증가하였어도 지위비행이나 폭력비행이 발생하지 않아 TSL표현의 조절효과가 검증되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 부모 간폭력을 목격한 청소년의 공격성과 우울 및 비행을 예방하기 위한 실천적인 개입 방안을 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of witnessing parental violence and the mediating effects of aggression and depression and the moderating effect of "TSL" (Thank, Sorry, Love) expression on adolescents` status and violence offenses. The data was extracted from the "domestic violence on children and adolescent" section of the 2010 National Data on Domestic Violence which was conducted by the Korean Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. A sample of 1,015 adolescents were utilized. The analytic results of structural equations modeling showed that witnessing parental violence had a significant effect on adolescents` status and violence offense. Aggression(p<.001) and depression(p<.001) were shown to have full mediation effects on the association between witnessing parental violence and adolescents` status and violence offenses. Adolescents status offenses(p<.01) also fully mediated the association between depression and adolescents` violence offenses. That is, depressed adolescents had higher status offenses and higher status offenses increased violence offenses than their counterparts. On the other hand, adolescents who heard "TSL" from their parents once or more times a week had less aggression, depression and status offenses. In other words, "TSL" acted as a moderator for aggression, depression, and status and violence offenses among adolescents. Through this study, the researchers suggest practical intervention strategies for preventing aggression, depression, status offenses and violence offenses.
