사회적 경제조직의 활동과 지역의 사회자본 확장 = 대전지역의 사례를 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study looks into the activity cases of social enterprises and township enterprises working in Daejeon Metropolitan City in order to examine how they are improving social capital of the community and what political implications the social capital established in that way presents. To attain the goal, the paper takes as its study subjects two cases of social enterprise 〈I’m Asia〉 and township enterprise 〈Gwanjeo Pumasi Community〉 working actively now. To sum up the study results, social enterprise 〈I’m Asia〉 not only vitalizes community networking but also encourages marriage-immigrant women’s participation in community activities and increases social capital of the community in a way that can transmit the attitude of multicultural tolerance. And township enterprise 〈Gwanjeo Pumasi Community〉 did vitalize the community’s social capital in a way of vitalizing the community’s cyber networking, creating the town’s common agenda, and strengthening the residents’ self-governing capacity. And social capital formed in this way can be used politically in the following ways: first, social capital connects different groups or individuals and helps the community’s resources and information to be utilized effectively. Second, social capital can also be used as resources that reinforce economic capital as well as human capital. Third, social capital can be utilized as the self-governing capacity of residents who are the partners in public-private cooperation.
