성폭력상담자의 대리외상 관련 변인 연구: 상담유형, 외상경험, 사회적 지지를 중심으로 = Study of variables in vicarious traumatization of sexual abuse counselor: focus on types of counseling, experience of trauma, and social support

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to identify the factors related to vicarious traumatization of sexual abuse victim's counselor, and it was carried out with 133 counselors in sexual abuse counseling center and women's shelter nation wide. In this study, vicarious traumatization was measured with Traumatic stress institute belief(TSIBS) and The Impact event scale-Revised(IES-R-K), and study's variables were demographic variables (age, level of education, and work experience in counseling) of counselor, counselor's experience of trauma and multidimensional support scale(MDSS). According to the result of study, Telephone counselor had more serious vicarious traumatization than in-person counselor and medical law supporter. Counselor's experience of trauma itself had no significant correlation with vicarious traumatization, on the other hand, the level of stress that sexual abuse trauma has affected since the time of the incident and until the present time had statistical significance with vicarious traumatization. In this study, although there was no significant correlation between support from supervisor and vicarious traumatization, support from family and coworkers had actual contribution in preventing vicarious traumatization. At last, we discussed these results in relation with current state of Korean sexual abuse counseling.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

대리외상은 상담자가 공감적 관계에서 내담자의 외상 경험에 지속적으로 노출될 때 나타나는 것으로, 상담자의 핵심 신념이 왜곡되거나 이차적 외상 스트레스 증상으로 나타난다. 본 연구는 성폭력 상담자의 대리외상에 미치는 관련 변인들을 확인하기 위한 것으로 전국 성폭력상담소 및 보호시설 상담자 133명을 대상으로 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서는 이차적 외상 스트레스(IES-R-K)와 외상스트레스핵심신념(TSIBS)으로 대리외상을 측정하였으며, 상담자의 성폭력 외상 경험과 다차원지지 척도(MDSS)를 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 전화상담자는 면접상담자와 법률의료지원자에 비하여 이차적 외상 스트레스 및 핵심 인지 신념의 왜곡이 더 심각한 것으로 나타났다. 상담자의 성폭력 외상 경험은 대리 외상을 유의하게 설명하지는 못하였지만 외상으로 인한 스트레스 수준은 이차적 외상 스트레스에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 동료와 가족의 지지는 핵심 신념의 왜곡에 부적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과를 한국 성폭력 상담의 현실과 관련지어 논의하였다.
