가정폭력 행위자의 심리내적체계 성장을 위한 Satir 변화모델 집단상담 개발 = A Study for Development of Group Counseling Program Basedon Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy forThe Intrapsychic System of Batterers in Domestic Violence

The purpose of this study is to develop the group counseling program based on Satir transformational systemic therapy for the intrapsychic system of batterers in domestic violence. In order to develop this program, a group counselling program for batterers were tested. The counselling program was redeveloped according to empirical experience confirmed from the pilot test. This program of eleven sessions included 9 male batterers who were sentenced to probation from March 24th to April 28th 2005 in the care of S Probation and Parole offices. The domestic violence program based on Satir transformational systemic therapy consist of batterer's intrapsychic system including behavior, coping, feeling, perception, expectation, yearning, and self. Case study as qualitative study was used to examine the influence of the program on the intrapsychic system of batterers. The subjects gave positive feedback on all three parts of the program, which were the program overall, the program coordinator, and the group members. This study has implication that the group counseling program that was developed based on Satir transformational systemic therapy in a time when diverse therapy model for batterers in domestic violence is needed. With the assumption that domestic violence is due to the dysfunctional family systems, this study suggest that Satir transformational systemic therapy that aims to change batterers through intervention dealing with intrapsychic system, interactive system, family of origin system is expected to be effective in interrupting the cycle of domestic violence and in formation of positive intimate marital relationships.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 가정폭력 문제의 효과적인 치료적 개입 프로그램의 필요성을 강조하면서, 이러한 필요성을 위한 방안으로 행위자의 심리내적체계 성장을 위한 Satir 변화모델 집단상담 프로그램을 개발하고자 한다. 프로그램의 개발을 위해 Satir 변화모델을 적용한 가정폭력 행위자 집단상담을 예비 테스트하였고, 이를 통해 확인된 경험을 토대로 프로그램을 재구성하였다. 프로그램의 내용은 행위자의 주관적 경험인 심리내적체계, 즉 행동, 대처방식, 감정, 지각체계, 기대, 열망, 자기 등 7가지 영역으로 구성하였다. 프로그램 실시는 2005년 3월 24일부터 4월 28일까지 11회기에 걸쳐 가정폭력과 관련하여 수강명령을 받은 9명의 남성 행위자들을 대상으로 하였다. 실시된 프로그램이 행위자의 심리내적체계에 미치는 영향을 효과 검증하기 위한 연구로서 질적연구의 범례 중 사례연구 설계를 하였다. 질적 사례연구의 연역적 분석방법을 통해 행위자의 심리내적체계 각 영역에서 성장변화가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 프로그램 평가와 진행자 평가 및 집단원 평가 영역으로 프로그램에 대한 전체적인 평가결과, 세 영역에서 모두 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 법원으로부터 수강명령을 받은 가정폭력 행위자 프로그램 모델이 부족한 상황에서 Satir 변화모델을 적용한 집단상담이라는 데에 의의를 갖는다. 특히 가정폭력이 역기능적인 가족체계의 문제에서 비롯되는 것임을 고려해 볼 때, Satir 변화모델은 행위자의 심리내적체계, 가족간의 상호작용체계, 원가족 역동체계 등에 치료적 개입을 통하여 가정폭력 행위의 재발 방지 및 친밀한 부부관계 형성에 효과적일 것으로 여겨진다.
