한국 중노년 성인들의 성공적 노화 척도 개발에 관한 연구 = Development of successful aging measurement for Korean mid to later adults

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to develop the successful aging measurement for Korean mid-to later adults in terms of the structures and amounts of information. We used 949 Korean adults over 50-years-old. First, confirmatory factor analysis suggested three factor model: comfortable everyday life, psychosocial well-being, and self-efficacy fitted well with Korean middle aged and older adults. Second, item response theory analyses revealed that 26 items among items of the original successful aging measurement provide very good amounts of information for successful aging of Korean adults in mod-to later life. This study suggests that measurements of successful aging for mid-to later adults is different with the successful aging scale only for the elderly.
