핀란드 종합학교 교육의 성공요인과 시사점 = Implications and Successful Factors of Finnish Comprehensive School Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to inquire about the Finnish comprehensive school which explains the world`s leading academic achievement of Finnish education system. Finland got the highest grades of reading, mathematic, and science of PISA (2000, 2003, 2006, 2009). The forms and structures of the curriculum and the ideas about integrated curriculum and study courses were analyzed how the Finnish comprehensive school contributed to the success of the Finnish education. Finnish comprehensive school followed the educational policy based on the Finnish national core curriculum. And the comprehensive school follows the pedagogical principles of the Frenchman Celestin Freinet, who underlines learning by doing and community orientation. Furthermore, Finnish comprehensive school education system suggests an alternative educational philosophy of welfare, equity chance of opportunity, differentiated learning, integrated curriculum, flexible student clusters and age group integrated classes, the comprehensive school curriculum based on decentralization and autonomy, and the educational system by an authority of the teacher.
