비합리적 신념과 공격성 사이에서 부적응적 인지전략과 대인관계양상의 매개효과 = The mediational roles of maladaptive cognitive strategies and interpersonal relationships between irrational beliefs and aggression

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 공격성 유발에 기여하는 인지 및 대인관계 요인들 간의 관계를 살펴보고 통합된 이론 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 서수균(2009b)이 비합리적 신념과 공격성 사이를 분노사고가 매개하고 있는 이중인지매개모델을 제안한 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 이중인지매개모델을 보다 정교화하기 위해서 비합리적 신념과 분노사고 사이를 매개하고 있는 인지전략과 대인관계양상을 탐색적으로 살펴보았다. 부적응적 인지전략과 대인관계양상이 비합리적 신념과 분노사고 사이를, 분노사고가 부적응적 인지전략/대인관계와 공격성 사이를 매개한다고 가정하였다. 학부 대학생 461명을 대상으로 일반적 신념 및 태도척도, 공격성질문지, 인지정서조절질문지, 대상관계척도, 이차분노사고척도를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다: 1) 부적응적 인지전략들 중에서 파국화와 남탓하기가 공격성을 유의하게 예언하였다, 2) 부적응적 대인관계양상들 중에서 자아중심성, 불안정애착, 소외가 공격성을 유의하게 예언하였다, 3) 부적응적 인지전략과 대인관계양상은 비합리적 신념과 이차분노사고 사이를 완전매개하였다, 4) 이차분노사고는 부적응적 인지전략/대인관계와 공격성 사이를 완전매개하였다. 이러한 결과들은 부적응적 인지대처/대인관계와 분노사고가 비합리적 신념과 공격성 사이를 완전매개하는 공격성에 대한 인지사회모델을 제안하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study aimed to investigate relations between cognitive/interpersonal variables and aggression, and to propose an integrated model. It was hypothesized that maladaptive cognitive strategies and interpersonal relationships mediated the association between irrational beliefs and anger-thoughts, and that anger-thoughts mediated the relation between maladaptive cognitive-strategies/interpersonal relationships and aggression. General Attitude and Belief Scale, Aggression Questionnaire, Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Secondary Anger-Thought Scale, and Object Relation Inventory were implemented to 461 college students. Study showed that 1) catastrophizing and blaming among maladaptive cognitive strategies predicted significantly aggression, 2) egocentricity, insecure attachment, and alienation among maladaptive interpersonal relationships predicted significantly aggression, 3) maladaptive cognitive strategies and interpersonal relationships mediated fully the association between irrational beliefs and secondary anger-thoughts. 4) secondary anger thoughts mediated fully the association between maladaptive cognitive strategies/interpersonal relationships and aggression. Those finding indicated that cognitive and social model of aggression was supported.
