어린이 실외놀이의 교육인간학적 의의 = A Study on the Educational Anthropological Meaning of Children`s Outdoor Play

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to investigate the meaning of children`s outdoor play in educational anthropological perspectives. In order to achieve the goal, this paper firstly looks into the features of children`s physical condition and the traits and types of outdoor play. For the next part, children`s society reflected on play is interpreted and the educational anthropological significance and characteristics of play are examined. The play performs an important function in children`s living and reflects the children`s life and society. Therefore, it is one of the essential activities for children. According to children`s nature projected on the outdoor play, they are players, imitators, adventurers, challengers, members of community, and creators. The educational anthropological significance of children`s outdoor play is a fundamental phenomenon of living, the importance of children`s health, the value of play on education, contribution to holistic development of children, and cultivation of creativity and problem-solving. The educational anthropological problems awaiting solutions are awareness of play, guidance on how to play, and changes from the indoor play mainly with games to the outdoor play. For the purpose of children`s entertainment and recovery in their own traits, it is noteworthy to provide conditions and environments.
