새부모의 양육태도유형과 재혼가족 청소년자녀의 심리사회적 적응에 관한 연구: 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 중심으로 = A Study on the Stepparenting Styles and the Adolescents` Psychosocial Adjustment: The Moderating Effect of Social Support

This study aims to investigate the moderating effect between the stepparenting styles(warm and control) and social support(family support, friend support, school support) on the psycho-social adjustment of adolescents stepchildren by surveying 137 adolescent stepchildren at home. The subjects including students at 40 comprehensive high schools were selected by purposeful sampling. In regression analysis socio-demographic factors such as sex of stepchildren and stepparents, age of stepchildren, type of stepfamily, existence of brothers of sisters, and length of remarriage were input as controlling variables to reduce the confounding effect. Based on the results of this study, family support and school support were proofed to have the moderating effect between the stepparenting styles and adolescents psycho-social adjustment. Social work intervention strategies and programs in school and social work practice were introduced to promote the psycho-social adjustment of adolescent stepchildren.
