대학생 필자의 독자 고려 양상 - 설득하는 글쓰기 과정을 중심으로 = The Aspects on Considering the Audience of the Freshman Writers at Korea University

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 대학생 필자가 글을 쓰는 과정에서 독자를 고려하는 양상을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 필자가 고려할 수 있는 독자의 모습은 단순하지가 않다. 지금까지의 독자 고려 연구와 달리 쓰기에서 독자에 대하여 폭넓고 다양한 관점에서 접근하여 보고자 하였다.
여기서는 5명의 우수하다고 판정된 대학생 필자에게 과제를 주고, 그 과제를 수행하는 동안 필자들이 독자를 어떻게 고려하여 가는지 프로토콜과 심층 면담 자료를 수집하는 방법으로 진행되었다. 연구자는 참여자들과 각각 3차례씩의 만남을 가졌다. 1차와 2차 만남은 사전 훈련의 성격이었고, 3차 만남에서 쓰기 장면 녹화와 면접이 이루어졌다.
연구 참여자들은 쓰기의 목적과 주제에 따라 독자의 배경과 의견에 대하여 분석하는 모습을 보였고, 쓰고 있는 글의 맥락을 만들어가면서 자신이 독자를 구체적으로 상정하는 모습을 보였다. 그리고 이렇게 자신이 분석하고 상정한 독자에 따라 글에서 내용의 선정과 조직, 어조와 단어 선택 등을 고심하는 모습을 보였다.
결국 필자가 고려하는 독자란 외부에 존재하는 대상일 뿐만 아니라, 필자가 글의 맥락을 창조하는 과정에서 함께 구성하는 존재임을 확인할 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated the aspects of considering audience by writer in the process of writing. This study was focused on the audience who was constructed by the writer. The audience is not a simple object but the complex concept. This study was intended for searching approaches according to various perspectives about the audience.
This study was based on the think-aloud of the audience. The 5 participants took part in the process of persuasive writing. They had to performance think-aloud over writing. Researcher met them three times while this study. Twice of the meeting were pre-exercise, the rest was the main observation.
The participants showed the aspects that they had analyzed the background and the view of the audience. And they had made a context of their own text at the same time.
Finally, the good writer perform the writing task considering the audience. Then the audience is the creature that is created by context from writer's schema.
