중소기업 컨설팅이 경영성과에 미치는 영향분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

중소기업과 컨설팅은 상호발전에 도움을 주는 상생관계를 갖고 있다. 중소기업들은 컨설팅을 받은 후 기업의 경쟁력 제고에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대하고 있다.
그러나 현재 컨설팅 수진 여부에 따라 중소기업의 경쟁력이 강화되고 그에 따라 경영성과가 제고되었는지에 대한 연관관계를 분석해 그 결과를 설명해 주는 국내 실증연구는 전무한 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구의 목적은 컨설팅과 중소기업 경영성과간의 분석모델을 통해 컨설팅이 중소기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 중소기업컨설팅성과평가모델을 정립하며 중소기업컨설팅의 발전전략을 수립하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 우선 컨설팅의 수진과 관련된 특정 변수들 즉 중소기업특성, 컨설팅사의 특성, 컨설팅 특성, 컨설팅 만족도, 컨설팅 활용도 그리고 중소기업 경영성과간의 연관관계를 분석했다. 그리고 이들 관계성에 대한 분석결과는 실제 컨설팅 수진 효과를 제고하고자 하는 중소기업들에게 유용한 전략적 정보로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 동시에 본 연구는 정부의 컨설팅 지원사업의 수행 시, 어느 특정 분야에 지원 강도를 강화해야 지원성과가 효과적으로 나타날 수 있는지에 대한 정책적인 해법도 제시하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Driven by the mantra of globalization, consulting industry is rapidly expanding.
Since there are not many SMEs which have consult with consulting firms in Korea, SMEs and Consulting industries should help each other develop. During the process of consultation, SMEs expect that their performance would be better than before.
However, there hasn't been an empirical study on the performance of consulting in domestic SMEs. To make up for absence of an empirical study, this paper mainly discusses how the consulting effects on outcomes of SMEs to know the actual effects of consulting and suggests the assessment model for the result.
The paper analyzes the correlation among the feature of SMEs, the features of consultation, satisfaction index, application index and the performance of SMEs. The researcher polled more than 200 Korean SMEs which have consulted with consulting firms. As a consequence, this paper conducts the correlation that ① the feature of SMEs has an impact on the feature of consulting ② the consulting satisfaction index has an impact on the consulting application index ③ the feature of consulting has an impact on the performance of SMEs ④ the consulting satisfaction index has an impact on the performance of SMEs ⑤ the consulting application index has an impact on the performance of SMEs. Suggesting the extent of importance for each category in order to improve the government aid program for SMEs, the result will be practically used for SMEs which plans to consult with a consulting firm. In addition, the public officials could practically use the results suggested by the paper when they aids with SMEs in consulting.
