놀이 상황을 통해 본 영아의 전이 경험 = A Study on Toddler Transition Experiences Focusingon Play Setting

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to understand the toddler's transition experience focusing on interactions of her toddler-environment, toddler-toy, toddler-toy-mother and toddler-toy-peers when they play.
The subjects of this study are 3 dyads of mothers and their toddlers who were 21-, 25-, and 28-months old. The researcher provided toys and play environments for toddlers, and observed their play behaviors in laboratory room. The cases were collected by narrative observations on from 1, July until 30, October. Minute field notes were carried out by field jotting and recording. The cases were analyzed after coding and categorization.
In this study, Toddlers played an increasingly active role on play environments. Toddlers who participated in the laboratory environment for this study showed anxiety symptom during the early adaptation period. They showed the behaviors depending on their mother and observations, and showed the behaviors taking care of themselves. But they actively explored the play environment and interacted with peers at the end of the transition period.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 영아가 낯선 놀이상황을 접하고 전이해 가는 과정에서 나타나는 행동방식을 질적인 분석으로 알아보고자 한 연구이다. 연구를 위해 각각 21개월, 25개월, 28개월 된 영아와 그들의 어머니를 연구 참여자로 하여 제 3의 놀이상황을 만들어 놓고 연구 참여자들이 참여하는 과정을 관찰했다. 연구결과 영아들은 낯선 놀이 환경을 처음 접했을 때 ‘어머니를 안전기지로 삼기’, ‘방관자적 행동’, ‘자신 돌보기’ 행동을 보였으며, 새로운 놀이 환경으로 전이되는 과정에서 영아들은 ‘능동적 놀이주체로의 변화’, ‘새로운 놀이 창안자로의 변화’, ‘공간적인 영역의 확장’, ‘상호작용 대상의 확장’ 을 보였다.
