어머니의 양육행동과 아동의 탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 아동발달에 중요한 영향을 주는 어머니의 양육행동과 아동의 탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 진행되었다. 조사대상은 대구광역시 수성구, 남구, 서구 소재의 초등학교 3개교와 경상북도 소재의 초등학교 2개교의 4-6학년 남녀 아동 총 388명을 최종 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 분석 결과 여학생이고, 학업성적이 높은 아동들일수록 민주적이거나 허용적인 양육태도를 더 많이 경험하고 있으며 모의 학력수준이 높을수록, 가족의 경제수준이 높을수록, 모-자녀 간 대화시간이 길수록 민주적 양육태도를 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 탄력성의 경우 여학생이고, 학업성적이 높을수록 높게 나타났으며, 모의 학력이 높고, 경제수준이 높을수록, 대화시간이 길수록 탄력성이 높게 나타났다. 탄력성에 영향을 미치는 변수를 최종 분석한 결과 민주적 양육태도가 탄력성에 미치는 영향이 가장 크게 나타났고, 그 다음으로 학업성적, 모의 학력수준 순으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 아동의 탄력성을 증진하기 위한 정책적, 실천적 개입 방안을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate how mothers parenting styles and the resilience of children differ according to individual factors and family factors, and to examine the effect of a mothers parenting styles on their childrens resilience. The subjects comprised 388 elementary students(196 boys and 192 girls, from the 4th graders to the 6th graders.)
The major findings of the study were as follows; (1) democratic parenting styles of mother were positively related to the gender of the child, academic grades, mothers education level, family income and time spent with their mother. (2) Childrens resilience was positively related to the gender of the child, academic grades, mothers education level, family income and time spent with their mother. (3) Among these variables, the effects of democratic parenting styles of the mother on their childrens resilience was observed to be the most powerful variable.
The implications of these results for theory, research, and future policy directions were also discussed.
