경영컨설팅과 기업성과의 관계 및 컨설팅활용도의 매개효과 = The Relationship of Business Consulting and Performance and the Mediating effect of Consulting Application Index.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 경영컨설팅성과가 컨설팅 의뢰기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향과 컨설팅활용도의 매개효과를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 경영컨설팅성과는 경영관리성과와 업무효율성과로 측정하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 경영관리성과와 업무효율성과는 모두 컨설팅 의뢰기업의 궁극적인 경영성과에 유의한 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 컨설팅활용도는 경영관리성과와 경영성과의 관계에 대하여 부분적인 매개효과를 나타내며, 업무효율성과와 경영성과의 관계에 대해서는 완전매개효과를 나타내는 것으로 분석되었다. 이에 따라 경영컨설팅에 의한 경영관리성과는 컨설팅결과를 활용함으로써 경영성과에 추가적인 영향을 미치며 업무효율성과는 컨설팅결과를 활용하는 경우에 한하여 경영성과를 향상시키는 요인인 것으로 파악되고 있다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 경영컨설팅을 의뢰하는 기업의 입장에서 실질적인 컨설팅성과를 평가하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 경영컨설팅에 의한 기업성과의 향상을 위하여 컨설팅결과의 전략적 활용방안을 강구하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzes empirically the effect of management consulting performance on business performance of client firms and the mediating effect of consulting application index. Management consulting performance is classified as managerial improvement and operating efficiency. According to research results, both management improvement and operating efficiency are analyzed to give significant positive effect on business performance of client firms. Consulting application index partially gives mediating effect on the relationship of managerial improvement and business performance and gives full mediating effect on the relationship of operating efficiency and business performance of consulting client firms. Therefore, it is understood that managerial improvement by consulting gives additional impact on business performance via consulting outcomes and operating efficiency increases performance only in case of utilizing by consulting outcome application. On the whole, results of this study can contribute to estimate practical usefulness of business consulting in viewpoints of client firms and also to devise strategic utilization of consulting outcomes and subsequent business performance increase of client firms.
