대학에서의 무용교육 개선방안 연구 = A Study on the Improvement Scheme of Dance Education in College

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

For the years, college dance education has grown with rapidity, It is argued that it has made its external quantitative growth possible but qualitative growth has not occurred at the same time. This study was intended to investigate the present situation of college dance education and present its new direction. To attain the goal of study, this study selected 10 students interested in college dance education as those possessing more than five to 10 years of dance career enrolled in the third to fourth academic year. It collected data through literature analysis, in-depth analysis and expert meeting and the like, analyzed data through case study and inductive categorical system and tested its trueness with triangulation. As a result, the following findings were obtained: It was found that the problem of college dance education the inconsistency of target contents, the prevalence of skill(practice)- education, the unclear direction of career path. As the alternative to resolve this problem, the following matters were presented: First, it is necessary to make the nature and objective of college dance education consistent with each other. Second, it is necessary to switch the direction of education from the training and education of functional dance professionals to human dance professionals. Third, it is necessary to form the linkage between the objective, content and career education. At the current point in time when 40 years have passed since the beginning of college dance education, it should correctly perceive 'what' it mean and its fundamental purpose and be provided for students in a correct form.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학 무용교육의 현황을 알아보고 문제점을 제시한 다음 대학 무용교육의 새로운 방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이 같은 연구목적을 해결하기 위해 연구 참여자는 대학교 3～4학년을 대상으로 5년～10년 이상 경력의 소유자로서 대학 무용교육의 관심을 가지고 있는 학생 10명을 선정하였고, 문헌분석, 심층면담, 전문가회의 등을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 사례분석과 귀납적 범주 분석으로 자료를 분석한 후, 삼각검증법으로 진실성을 검증하였다. 구체적 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 대학 무용교육의 문제점으로는 전문성과 특수성 부재, 실기능력 우선주위, 기능(실기)중심 무용교육으로 나타났고, 이 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위한 대안으로는 첫째, 대학 무용교육의 특수성과 전문성 강화, 둘째, 기능적 무용전문인 양성에서 인문적 무용전문인 양성교육으로 전환, 셋째, 무용전문교육자 양성교육을 제시하였다. 40여년이 지난 현 시점에서 대학 무용교육은 먼저 교육이 ‘무엇’을 의미하고 근본적인 목적이 무엇인지를 바로 인식하며 그것이 올바른 형태로 이루어질 수 있도록 교육되어져야 한다.
