대학생의 애착과 우울의 관계에서 희망의 매개효과 검증 = Hope As a Mediator Between Adult Attachment and Depression in University Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined hope as a mediator between adult attachment (i.e., anxiety and avoidance) and depression. A total of 322 undergraduates from an university at seoul and another university at south of Choongcheong province in Korea participated. Results from structural equation modeling analysis indicated that Hope fully mediated the relationship between attachment avoidance and depression, and partially mediated the relationship between attachment anxiety and depression. Suggestions for future for future research, the limitation of this study, and the implications for counselors were also discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 대학생을 대상으로 애착과 우울의 관계에서 희망이 매개변인으로서의 역할을 하는가를 검증하는 것이었다. 서울과 충청권 지역의 대학에 재학 중인 남녀 대학생 322명이 성인애착을 측정하는 친밀한 관계 경험 척도, 희망척도, 우울척도에 응답한 자료를 기초로 하여 구조방정식모형을 검증하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 애착회피와 애착불안은 우울과 유의한 단순 상관을 보였다. 그러나 구조방정식 모형 분석에서는 애착불안만 우울을 유의하게 예측하였다. 둘째, 애착회피와 애착불안 모두 희망을 유의하게 예측하였다. 셋째, 희망은 우울을 유의하게 예측하였다. 넷째, 애착회피와 우울의 관계는 희망에 의하여 완전 매개되었고, 애착불안과 우울의 관계는 희망에 의하여 부분 매개되었다. 이 연구의 결과가 상담에서 갖는 의미, 이 연구의 제한점과 추후 연구에 대한 제언 등이 논의 되었다.
