성인애착과 사회불안의 관계: 역기능적 신념과 사회적 자기효능감의 매개효과 = The relationship between adult attachment and social anxiety: The mediating effect of dysfunctional beliefs and social self-efficacy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the mediating effect of dysfunctional beliefs and social self-efficacy in the relationship between adult attachment and social anxiety among university students. The subjects were 419 students recruited from universities in theSeoul and Gyeonggi areas in South Korea. The Adult Attachment Scale, Social Avoidance and Distress Scale, Dysfunctional Beliefs Test, and Social Self- Efficacy Scale were administered to students. The results were as follows. First, social anxiety was positively correlated with insecure adult attachment(anxious attachment) and dysfunctional beliefs, while social self-efficacy was negatively correlated with insecure adult attachment and dysfunctional beliefs. Second, dysfunctional beliefs completely mediated the relationship between adult attachment and social anxiety. Third, social self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship between adult attachment and social anxiety. Implication and limitations of the present results are also discussed.
