유아의 놀이특성과 자기조절력이 유아교육기관 적응에 미치는 영향 = The Relationship between Young Children’s Early School Adaptation, Play Characteristics and Self-regulation by Teacher’s Evaluation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between early school adaptation, play characteristics and self-regulation of young children. The subjects were 236 day care center and kindergarten children in D city. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson’s r and multiple regression using the SPSS/PC computer program.
The major results of this study were as follows: First, there were significant relationships between early school adaptation, play characteristics, and self-regulation of young children. Second, play characteristics and self-regulation were positive factors in predicting early school adaptation.
In conclusion, the results of this study confirmed that young children’s play characteristics and self-regulation are important factors in predicting early school adaptation of young children. Implications for future research and practices are currently being discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 놀이특성 및 자기조절력과 유아교육기관 적응과의 관계를 살펴보는데 있다. D광역시 유치원과 어린이집 유아 236명을 대상으로 하여 연구변인에 대한 교사평가를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 13.0 프로그램을 통해 상관계수와 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다.
연구결과 첫째, 유아의 놀이특성 및 자기조절력과 유아교육기관 적응의 하위요인들은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 놀이특성 및 자기조절력은 유아교육기관 적응과의 관계에서, 놀이특성과 자기조절력은 유아교육기관 적응을 예측하는 중요한 변인임을 알 수 있었다. 좀 더 구체적으로 살펴보면, 유아교육기관 적응 전체를 예측하는 변인은 언어놀이, 정서놀이, 정서조절인 것으로 나타났으며, 유아교육기관 적응의 각 하위요소의 특성에 따라 놀이특성과 자기조절력의 각 하위요인의 예측변인과 그 영향력이 다른 것으로 나타났다.
