청소년의 학업성취에 영향을 미치는 관련 변인들의 구조적 관계: 부모지원, 자아존중감 및 학교적응을 중심으로 = Analysis on Structural Relationship of Influential Factors on Adolescent's Academic Achievement: Focused on Parents' Support, Self-Esteem and School Adjustment

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study tried to find out what relationship is among parents' support, self esteem and school adjustment on students' academic achievement. For this purpose, setting the adolescent's self esteem and his/her school adjustment as mediators in the relationship of parents' support and academic achievement This study surveyed total 438 students(male: 188, female: 250) in attending middle and high schools located in Seoul and some provinces. The result of study is as follows. First, the parents' support showed high positive correlation in the relationship with the self esteem and the school adjustment. The factor also showed high correlation in the relationship with the academic achievement. The self esteem had correlations with the school adjustment and the academic achievement, respectively. The school adjustment's relationship with the academic achievement was appeared to have some positive correlation. Second, in the relationship of parents' support and school adjustment, the self esteem took the role as a mediator. For the relationship of self esteem and academic achievement, the school adjustment carried out the role of mediator. It was found that the parents' support influenced on students' academic achievement by using the self esteem and the school adjustment as its mediators.
