학령기 경계선 지능 아동의 사회성숙도와 자존감향상을 위한 멘토링 효과성 분석 -대학생 멘토와 경계선 아동의 상호효과를 중심으로- = The Effect of Mentoring Program for Social Maturity & Self-esteem of the School-aged Children with Borderline Intelligence -focus on benefits of mentoring on mentee and metor-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of mentoring program for social maturity and self-esteem of the school-aged children with borderline intelligence. And It focused on the benefit of mentoring on metee and metor using the experiment design. 37 children with borderline intelligence participated in this program for 10 months. 68 university students participated in experimental group(37 members) and control group(31 members). Statistical tools was paired sample t-test & independent t-test using SPSS17.0. The results of the study were as follows; First, the school-aged children with borderline intelligence showed that their social competence was increased significantly. Second, 8-10 year group was significantly increased in the level of total social adjustment skills, and communication skills whereas 11-12 year group was increased only in the level of social competence. Third, the self-esteem scores of the school-aged children with borderline intelligence showed above 30, therefore they need clinical intervention. Forth, metors, university students in experimental group was increased significantly in the level of self-esteem whereas control group was not increased.
