기혼여성의 부모역할 스트레스와 우울의 관계:부모역할 자긍심의 매개 및 중재효과 = The Mediating and Moderating Effects of Parenting Self-Esteem on the Relationship between Parenting-Role Stress and Depression among Married Women

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between parenting-role stress and depression and whether this relationship is mediated or moderated by parenting self-esteem among married women. Five hundreds and six married women completed questionnaires for the study. The result showed that parenting-role stress significantly predicted women's depression. In addition, parenting self-esteem fully mediated the relationship between parenting-role stress and depression, thus supporting mediating effect of parenting self-esteem, instead of moderating effect. The implications of these findings were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 기혼여성을 대상으로 부모역할 스트레스가 우울에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 부모역할 스트레스와 우울의 관계에서 부모역할의 인지변인 가운데 하나인 부모역할 자긍심의 매개효과와 중재효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 서울 경기지역의 초등학생 어머니 506명을 대상으로 설문지가 실시되었다. 연구결과, 자녀의 기질과 관련된 스트레스와 자녀양육과 관련된 생활스트레스는 기혼여성의 우울을 유의하게 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모의 자녀양육 만족감 및 효능감과 관련되어 있는 부모역할 자긍심은 부모역할 스트레스와 우울의 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 부모역할 스트레스와 우울의 관계에서 부모역할 자긍심의 중재효과는 지지되지 않았다. 학령기 아동을 자녀로 둔 여성의 부모역할 자긍심을 증진시키기 위한 부모교육과 기혼여성의 우울치료, 개입과 관련한 논의가 있었다.
