소액창업업체의 경제적 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 = Determinants of the Financial Outcomes of Micro-enterprises

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 소액창업업체의 경제적 성과를 높이는 방안을 모색하기 위해 창업지원서비스를 받은 소액창업업체들의 경제적 성과인 월매출액과 월순수익을 분석하고, 위계적 회귀분석 방법을 사용하여 소액창업업체의 개인적 특성, 사업적 특성, 운영 상황이 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 창업지원을 받는 소액창업업체의 경제적 성과인 월매출액은 일반 소상공인 보다는 상당히 적었으나 월순수익에는 큰 차이를 보이지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 위계회귀분석 결과, 개인적 특성과 사업적 특성 모두가 월매출액과 월순수익 모두에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인임을 확인할 수 있는 반면에, 주관적으로 느끼는 운영의 어려움은 개인적, 사업적 특성 통제시 주요한 영향요인이 아닌 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 월매출액에 영향을 주는 변인들과 월순수익에 영향을 주는 변인들도 많이 다름을 보여 주고 있다. 이러한 연구결과는 소액창업지원 프로그램들은 소액창업지원 프로그램 참여자들이 주관적으로 느끼는 운영의 어려움에 관심을 가져야 하기는 하지만, 소액창업체들이 갖는 개인적 특성과 사업적 특성을 강조하여 창업지원 전략을 세워야 함을 시사하고 있다. 또한 월매출액과 월순수익에 대한 영향요인이 다르다는 연구결과는 매출액 향상 전략과 순수익 향상 전략이 달라져야 함을 명확하게 제시하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is designed to analyze monthly sales and monthly net-incomes as financial outcomes of micro-enterprises that participated in a micro-enterprises support program, and to analyze, by using a hierarchical regression analysis method, how three factors, such as personal characteristics, business characteristics, and management difficulties of the micro-enterprises, determine their monthly sales and net-incomes.
It is found that the monthly sales of micro-enterprises that responded are much less than those of small businesses studied by other researchers, but there is no big difference in monthly net-incomes between the micro-enterprises and small businesses.
By hierarchical regression analysis, it is found that personal characteristics as well as business characteristics of the micro-enterprises are significant factors in both monthly sales and net-incomes. On the other hand, management difficulties are not a significant factor when the personal and business characteristics are controlled. This result highlights the importance of the personal and business characteristics of micro-enterprises, rather than that of management difficulties felt subjectively by the program participants in designing their support programs.
And also it is shown that variables affecting the monthly sales are considerably different from those affecting the monthly net-incomes. This result clearly points out that strategies to enhance the sales of the micro-enterprises should be different from those that enhance their net-incomes.
