      대학교육을 위한 Action Learning 프로그램 설계모형 개발 연구 = A Model of Action Learning Program Design in Higher Education

      The purpose of this study is to develop the model of design process for Action Learning in the university. In order to formulate the design model of Action Learning, three research questions were proposed as follows: 1) What are the viewpoints on designing Action Learning in the university? 2) What are the authentic processes of designing Action Learning in the university?, 3) What is the design model of Action Learning in the university? A literature review and a qualitative case study were performed to answer these questions. The methods and procedures of this study involved the following steps: ⑴ Literature reviews of Action Learning, ⑵ The actual designing procedures for Action Learning were observed. ⑶ Collected data were analyzed. ⑷ The design model of Action Learning in the university was formulated. Especially, for describing the authentic process of designing Action Learning, the in-depth interview with the instructor in the university was executed. The design model of Action Learning program for the university consisted of the eight steps: understanding Action Learning and cultivating competencies of learning coach, analyzing contents and learners` characteristics, deciding learning objectives, deciding task, problem solving process and problem solving tools, developing the workbook, playing as a learning coach during problem solving process and analyzing learners` characteristics, and evaluating the design process. The expert evaluation confirmed the face validity of the model by showing affirmative responses.
