초등학교 진로교육의 새로운 패러다임

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 초등학교 진로교육에 대한 관심이 증대되고 관련 정책 및 활동이 확대되 고 있는 현 상황에서 초등학교 진로교육의 패러다임과 현재의 초등학교 진로교육 실태를 고찰하여 초등학교 진로교육이 가진 문제점과 과제를 살펴보고자 실시하였다. 연구를 통해 도출된 초등학교 진로교육의 과제는 첫째, 초등학교 진로교육에 학생들의 요구를 반영하고 학생들의 진로발달에 도움이 되는지 충분히 분석하는 노력이 필요 하다. 둘째, 진로교육 전담교사의 전문성 제고를 위한 양성 및 훈련이 필요하다. 체험과 실천 중심의 교육과정을 운영할 필요가 있다. 정확하고 신뢰로운 진로정보를 생성 및 보급해야 한다. 다섯째, 양질의 진로교육 운영을 위한 기준을 마련해야 한다. 여섯 째, 기관간 수평적․수직적 연계 체제 구축할 필요가 있다. 일곱째, 법적·제도적 지원체 제를 정비해야 한다. 여덟째, 진로교육을 다양한 교과를 통해서도 가능하도록 하기위한 노력이 필요하다. 새로운 초등학교 진로교육 패러다임 상황에서 이러한 과제들을 해결하기위해서는 초 등학교 진로교육의 중요성을 인식하고, 진로교육의 거시적인 체제 정비와 함께 단위 학교에서의 적극적인 노력과 혁신이 전개될 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study was to examine the current status and paradigm on the career education in elementary school. The eight future tasks for career education of elementary school were derived from the study. First, career education in elementary school should reflect the actual needs of elementary school students and the contents of it have to be analyzed properly to be determined if the contents are helpful and effective. Second, education and training for career education teachers should be provided. Third, the curriculum of career education in elementary school need to be experience-and-action-oriented. Forth, accurate and reliable career information should be created and provided. Fifth, the criteria for planning and carrying out elementary career education need to be established. Sixth, the institutions for elementary career education should be connected horizontally as well as vertically in a whole system. Seventh, legal and institutional supporting system for career education in elementary school need to be modified. Lastly, carer education in elementary school have to be carried out through various curriculum subjects. To perform these tasks successfully in the world of new paradigm, it is important zto aware the importance of elementary career education. Also, both improvement of macroscopic system for elementary career education and individual elementary schools' efforts to carry out and renovate career education are needed.
