컨설턴트역량과 경영컨설팅완성도의 관계 및 조절요인 분석 = An Analysis of the Relation of Consultant Competency to Management Consulting Completion Index and Moderating Factors

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 컨설턴트역량이 경영컨설팅완성도에 미치는 영향과 컨설팅사 및 컨설팅 수진기업의 조직특성이 미치는 조절효과를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 컨설턴트의 직무역량과 관리역량은 경영컨설팅완성도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 반면에 공통역량은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 컨설팅사 특성의 조절효과는 관리역량과 경영컨설팅완성도의 관계에 대한 컨설팅사전문성의 영향만이 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 컨설팅 수진기업특성의 조절효과는 관리역량과 경영컨설팅완성도의 관계에 대한 경영자지원과 직무역량과 경영컨설팅완성도의 관계에 대한 변화수용력의 영향이 유의한 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 경영컨설팅 수진기업의 컨설팅성과를 평가하고 컨설팅결과의 전략적 활용방안을 강구하는데 활용될 수 있다. 아울러 분석결과는 관련분야의 연구 영역을 확대하고 후속적인 연구를 활성화하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzes empirically the effect of consultant competency on management consulting completion index and moderating effects of consulting firm and client firm characteristics. According to research results, both task and managerial competencies of consultant give significant positive effect on consulting completion index but common competency gives no significant impact on completion index. Moderating effect of consulting firm characteristics is significant only for the relationship of managerial competency and consulting completion index. In case of client firm characteristics, the moderating effects of management support on the relationship of managerial competency and consulting completion index and change receptive capacity on the relationship of task competency and consulting completion index. On the whole, results of this study can be utilized to estimate practical usefulness of business consulting in viewpoints of client firms and to devise strategic utilization of consulting outcomes. Also analysis results can contribute to expand related research area and to activate subsequent future research.
