유아교사의 비판적 사고성향, 교사 효능감이 유아의 비판적 사고력에 미치는 영향 = The effect of early childhood teacher’s critical thinking disposition and teacher efficacy towards child’s critical thinking skill

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 교사변인인 교사의 비판적 사고성향, 교사 효능감이 유아의 비판적 사고력과 어떠한 관계가 있는지를 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 교사의 비판적 사고성향 상하집단간 유아의 비판적 사고력의 차이를 알아보고, 유아교육현장에서 유아의 비판적 사고력 향상을 위한 자료를 제공하고자한다. 본 연구는 어린이집과 유치원의 교사 125명과 유아 625명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 자료수집은 질문지와 면접법을 실시하였으며 분석을 위하여 기술통계, t-검증, 상관분석을 실시하였다. 교사의 비판적 사고성향은 보통수준이었고, 교사 효능감은 보통이상 수준이었으며 유아의 비판적 사고력은 연령에 따라 차이가 있었다. 그리고 교사의 비판적 사고성향이 높을수록, 교사의 교사 효능감이 높을수록 유아의 비판적 사고력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 유아의 비판적 사고력은 교사의 비판적 사고성향, 교사 효능감과 유의한 정적관계를 가졌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The research has examined the relationship between child’s critical thinking skill and teacher’s critical thinking disposition and teacher efficacy, known as teacher’s variances. Also, the research tried to find out the difference of child’s critical thinking skill between the groups of teachers who have high and low critical thinking disposition, and to provide data for child’s critical thinking skill improvement in early childhood teaching institutions. The subjects were 125 early childhood teachers, working in child care centers and kindergartens, and 625 children, the students of those teachers. In order to collect the research data, questionaires and interviews were performed. As for analysis, statistic technique, t-verification, and correlation analysis was carried out. The results showed that teacher’s critical thinking disposition was average, teacher efficacy was above average, and child’s critical thinking skill varied with age. Furthermore, as the teacher’s critical thinking disposition and teacher efficacy increased, the child’s critical thinking skill had the same effect. Overall, the research displayed that child’s critical thinking skill was directly proportional to teacher’s critical thinking disposition and teacher efficacy.
