교사평정용 유아 리더십 측정도구 개발 = Development of preschool children’s leadership scale for teachers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to develop a preschool children’s leadership scale as a tool for teachers to identify and measure young children’s practice of leadership traits and behaviors. Subjects in the study are 318 preschool children in Incheon, Kangwon-do, and Kyungsang-do, Korea.
The results of exploratory factor analysis show that 31 items from four factor categories are related to preschool children’s leadership. The four factors are ‘challenges with self-confidence’, ‘respect for others’, ‘self-control’, and ‘problem solving ability’. The confirmatory factor analysis reveal that the four factors are appropriate for explaining preschool children’s leadership. In addition, there are significant positive correlations between the subarea scores and the total score in the preschool children’s leadership scale(r=.83～r=.89, p<.01). Concurrent validity also indicates positive correlations between the preschool children’s leadership scale and the competence scale among peers(r=.84, p<.01). The preschool children’s leadership scale has a high reliability: Cronbach’s shows .95 for total factors. These results demonstrate that the scale is an appropriate tool for measuring preschool children’s leadership.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 교사평정용 유아 리더십 측정도구를 개발하는데 있다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 인천, 강원도, 경상도 지역의 유치원 9곳에서 표집된 유아 318명이었다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과 본 측정도구는 도전과 자신감, 타인존중, 자기행동관리, 문제해결력의 4개 하위요인의 총 31문항으로 개발되었다. 탐색적 요인 분석을 통해 추출된 유아 리더십 측정도구의 하위요인에 대한 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 유아 리더십 측정도구는 탐색적 요인분석에서 추출된 4개의 하위구성요인으로 구성되는 것이 가장 적절한 구조임이 밝혀졌다. 또한 유아 리더십 측정도구의 총점과 4개의 하위요인과의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 r=.83～r=.89의 의미 있는 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발된 측정도구의 공인타당도를 살펴보기 위하여 또래유능성과의 상관을 산출한 결과 r=.84로 의미 있는 높은 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 유아 리더십 측정도구의 전체 문항내적 합치 신뢰도는 .95로 높게 나타났다. 이상과 같이 타당도 및 신뢰도를 산출한 결과 본 연구에서 개발한 교사평정용 유아 리더십 측정도구는 매우 신뢰할 수 있고 타당한 도구임이 확인되었다.
