남녀 집단에서 살펴본청소년 비행과 부모감독의 종단관계 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the interactional relationship between juvenile delinquent behavior and parental monitoring across gender groups by utilizing data from a Korea Youth Panel Survey. With autoregressive cross-lagged modeling, we explored two ideas: 1) the interactional effects between parental monitoring and delinquent behaviors, and 2) the difference in these effects among gender groups. The results of the study are as follows: Autoregressive effects of juvenile delinquent behaviors and parental monitoring appeared stable. However, cross-lagged effects between delinquent behaviors among juveniles and parental monitoring in female and male groups were different. In the female group, parental monitoring had a stronger influence on reducing delinquent behaviors than in the male group. In conclusion, parental monitoring is shown to be an influential factor in preventing delinquent behaviors, especially among females. Suggestions for future studies are also discussed.
