청소년용 가족기능 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 = Development and Validation of Adolescent’s Family Functioning Inventory

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the Adolescent's Family Functioning Inventory Scale. This study reviewed the previous Korean and foreign studies and conventional scales for family functioning in order to extract the items to measure. As content validity was confirmed, a preliminary survey was conducted. Psychometric properties of the scale were examined including internal consistency, convergent and divergent validity, concurrent validity, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Self-measure capturing the factors was done by subjects of 1,222 adolescents from middle school first grade students to high school third grade students. The result of this study were as follows. First, adolescent's family functioning scales including five sub-scales and twenty six items which were emotional support, family harmony, support for growth, communication and family conflict. Second, this study was verified construct validity for the adolescent's family functioning scale. This indicated that each item properly represents characteristics of the sub-factors it belongs to and that each sub-factor is proven to be different from the others.
