한국판 코치-운동선수 관계 척도의 구조적 타당화 = Structural validation of the Korean version of coach-athlete relationship questionnaire (KrCART-Q)

The purpose of this research was to test the reliability and validity of Korean version of Coach-Athlete Relationship Questionnaire(CART-Q) that Jowett and Ntmoumanis(2004) developed for measuring relationship between coaches and athletes. For this, producing the Korean version of CART-Q through the translation and modification of CART-Q, testing its reliability, and identifying its validity were carried out, Data were obtained from 317 coaches and athletes who have been in collegiate team sports. KrCART-Q consisting of three factor(commitment, closeness, complementarity) with 10 items was completed throughout item analysis, exploratory factor analysis, internal consistency, test-retest, and confirmatory factor analysis. The results of internal consistency and test-retest reliability indicated that the latent structure of the KrCART-Q is excellent in terms of consistency and stability. Both convergent validity and discriminant validity were verified. Also group differences between leading players and substitute players as well as coaches and athletes on some subfactors supported the validity of KrCART-Q.
