킬패트릭의 Project Method로 본 학교수업의 모습 성찰 = A Reflection of Schooling by Kilpatrick`s Project Method

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, I looked at how Kilpatrick explained schooling by using a concept, Project Method. Kilpatrick explained what method and project is, and throught this, he suggested Project Method. So, Project Method can be defined as a whole learning achieved through purposeful activities of a student. Thus, Kilpatrick claimed that through schooling, teacher should let students act rather than listening; learning laws should operate on a learning processes; lastly, and it should give opportunities to foster ethics at the same time. These reasons are why it should be Kilpatrick’s Project Method. From these results, I further went to argue that what Kilpatrick``s Project Method suggested to school teachings of today should be rather re-conceptualized as how we should look at the teaching than a mere teaching method. Also, ``setting purpose,`` ``character of activity,`` and ``a teacher``s recognition and attitude toward the learning laws`` should be reconsidered.
