초등교사의 체육교과 학습공동체 형성 = A study on building teachers` Learning community in elementary school physical education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 체육교과와 관련하여 초등교사들의 학습공동체 형성 과정과 그 메커니즘을 이해하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 경기도에 소재한 한 초등학교에서 2007년 2월부터 2009년 2월까지 2년간의 참여관찰을 통한 질적연구를 수행하였다. 자료의 수집 및 분석의 전반적인 과정은 Strauss와 Corbin(1998)이 개발한 개방적 코딩, 중추적 코딩, 선택적 코딩 절차에 따라 각 사례별로 귀납적 범주분석을 하였고, 학습의 사회 이론(Wenger, 1998; Wenger, McDermott, & Snyder, 2002)에 기초하여 공동체 구성원들의 참여 수준 및 학습의 양상과 공동체의 운영 형태를 준거로 수집된 자료를 분석·해석했다. 그리고 구성원간 검토, 전문가 협의, 다각도접근법을 통해 연구 결과의 진실성을 높이고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 초등교사들의 체육교과 학습공동체는 맹아적 학습공동체 단계, 개별교사 중심의 형식적 학습공동체 및 자기주도적 학습공동체 단계, 최종적으로 공동체 중심의 협력적 학습공동체 단계로 변화·발전하는 위계적 방향성을 지니고 있었다. 그리고 이러한 변화 과정에는 학습공동체를 움직이게 하는 몇 가지 조건 및 원리가 그 형성 메커니즘으로 작용하고 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to understand the process and its operational mechanism of building teachers` learning community(TLC) in elementary school physical education. The field work for this study based on qualitative research method was conducted by researcher at the `Jinli Elementary School`(tentatively named for this research) located in Gyeonggi-do Province from February in 2007 to February in 2009. The collected data were described and analyzed by using coding system, such as `open coding`, `axial coding`, and `selective coding` developed by Strauss & Corbin(1998). In addition, the raw data were analyzed and interpreted by the social theory of learning, based on Wenger(1998) and Wenger, McDermott, & Snyder(2002). In this study, the researcher used to ensure of trustworthiness, such as `member checking`, `auditing`, and `triangulation`. The major conclusions of this study were as follows: First, the process of building TLC in elementary school physical education changed and developed `the blind TLC stage`, `the formal TLC stage`, `the self-directed TLC stage`, and `the collaborative TLC stage`, made up proactive participation. Also, each of the stages has developed within the hierarchical process. Second, its operational mechanism of building TLC were some of conditions and general principles.
