조선정판사 ‘위조지폐’ 사건의 재검토 = 제1심 판결의 모순점을 중심으로

The prosecutor’s argument and the sentencing of the Court of First Instance on the “counterfeit” case at JoseonJeongpansa(or ChosunChungpansa) did not specify the date of the first round when the suspects had allegedly printed counterfeit money, which is against the principle that criminal facts must be described based on 5W1H. The fact that the Chief Judge, Yang Wonil, and the Prosecutor, Cho Jaecheon, went on a business trip to collect evidence that could nullify Park Rakjong’s alibi, not only violated the principle of neutrality of the Department of Justice, but failed. Moreover, Judge Yang manipulated the written judgment in such a way as to change the date that the suspects had supposedly conspired to print counterfeit money, which contradicts the date of the Korean Communist Party’s move to the Geuntaek Building. In addition, no single piece of material evidence exists, such as zinc plates or counterfeit banknotes that were used or forged by the suspects at Jeongpansa. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Jeongpansa “counterfeit” case was manipulated, and the accused were innocent of the charges brought against them.
