대졸 청년층의 노동시장 성과 결정요인 분석 -위계선형모형(Hierarchical Linear Model)을 중심으로- = The Analysis of Determinant Factors of Youth Graduates' Performance on the Labor Market: Focusing on the Hierarchical Linear Model

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research focus on the temporary social problem: the failure of youth graduates' transition to the labor market. Therefore, the research attempted to do the comprehensive analysis by using a research model that considers hierarchical structure among the individual and the university factors, and with the model, the research analyzed the determinants on the youth graduates' qualitative performance in the labor market as a first transition from the education and training. Especially, to improve the previous literatures, this research used HLM and HGLM to analysis the multi-level structure. The research attempt to suggest an implication to the universities which raise the talents to the labor market and to the society which tries to solve the social problem of youth unemployment. As a result, the university factors affects the several individual labor market performance, wage and employment type. In the perspective of wage, the type of graduated university, 4 year college in Seoul, 4 year college in province or technical college, affects significantly negative impact on the wage. Also, the finance, education and research level of the university affects the wage of individuals meaningfully. Especially when the individual's goal of employment measured high and the university has a high level of research capacity, they positively moderate the wage performance. Furthermore, in the perspective of employment in the large corporation, the graduation from the 4 year college in province or technical college have negative effects. Also, similar to the wage performance, the finance, education and research level of the university have statistically significant effect on the employment to the large corporation. Consequently, based on the described research result, the research propose the methods to improve the youth graduates' labor market result.
