지역사회의 사회자본이 범죄두려움에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of the Social Capital of the Community on the Fear of Crime

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

By considering that the increase of crime despite the various crime prevention policy for the safety of local residents is attracting attention, this study attempted to examine empirically the impact of social capital as measures for reducing fear of crime. For this purpose, this study used panel data regression based on 25 local governments in Seoul. This study showed that 'trust in the general population' and 'Participation of religious organizations' were statistically significant variables that affected the decrease of fear of crime. Meanwhile, 'increase in police personnel', one of the control variable, was also statistically significant. This study presents the policy implications on the basis of these results.
