정서지능, 지각된 진로장애, 진로결정자기효능감의 관계 모형 검증 = Verification of the Relationship Model of Emotional Intelligence, Career Barriers and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy

This study aimed to investigate the social contextual effect of career decision-making self-efficacy through career barriers; it also explored the role of emotion in relation to these factors. We confirmed correlations among emotion intelligence, career barriers and career decision-making self-efficacy and examined the hypothesized model that emotional intelligence would predict career decision-making self-efficacy through the partial mediation of career barriers. The results showed that the partial mediation effect was significant. In addition, the relation of emotional intelligence to career decision-making self-efficacy differed according to type of career barrier.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사회 환경적 요인이 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 지각된 진로장애를 통해 알아보고 이들 관계에서 정서의 역할을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대학생을 대상으로 진로장애 척도, 정서지능 척도, 진로결정자기효능감 척도로 구성된 설문을 실시하고 변인들 간의 상관 및 진로장애의 매개 효과를 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 정서지능이 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 있어서 진로장애의 매개 효과가 유의미하였으며, 특히 정서지능이 진로결정자기효능감에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 완전매개모형에 비해, 진로장애를 거쳐 영향을 미치는 부분매개모형의 적합도 지수가 더 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 진로 외적 장애가 진로결정자기효능감으로 가는 경로계수는 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타나 진로장애의 유형에 따라 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향이 상이한 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 정서지능은 진로결정자기효능감에 직접 영향을 줄 뿐만 아니라 진로장애의 두 가지 유형 중 진로 내적 장애를 매개로 간접 영향을 준다는 것을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 이 같은 결과와 모형이 의미하는 바와 함께 본 연구의 시사점 및 제한점이 논의 되었다.
