어머니 문지기 역할에 대한 부부의 인식과 아버지의 양육참여 및 양육효능감의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 어머니의 문지기 역할에 대한 부부의 인식과 아버지의 양육참여 및 양육효능감과의 관련성을 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 만 3～5세 유아기 자녀를 둔 부부 141쌍이었다. 연구결과 첫째, 부부 모두 아내가 남편의 양육참여를 꺼리거나 방해하는 행동보다 격려하고 지지하는 행동을 더 자주한다고 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 어머니가 남편의 자녀 양육참여를 지지한다고 부부가 인식할수록 남편의 양육참여 수준이 높았다. 셋째, 어머니가 남편의 자녀 양육참여를 지지한다고 생각할수록 남편의 양육효능감은 높았고, 제한한다고 생각할수록 남편의 양육효능감은 낮았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate relationships among married couples’ perception of the mother’s role as a gatekeeper, father’s childrearing involvement, and father’s efficacy in child rearing. 141 pairs of married couples participated in the study. Results showed that both husband and wife recognized that the wife has encouraged and supported more often than avoided and interrupted the husband’s involvement in child rearing. Secondly, when more couples perceived that the wife is supportive of husband’s involvement in child rearing, the level of husband’s involvement in child rearing was higher. Lastly, when it was perceived that the mother is supportive of husband’s involvement in child rearing, husband’s efficacy in child rearing was higher, and vice versa.
