청소년의 사회적 성취목표와 또래관계 질의 관계: 친사회성과 공격성의 매개효과 = The Relations between Social Achievement Goals and Peer Relationship Quality of Adolescents: Mediating Effects of Prosociability and Aggression

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study sought to examine the association between quality of peer relationships and social achievement goals in high school students. The mediation effects of societal anxiety, prosocial behavior and aggression in these relations were also examined. The participants were 142 boys and 182 girls in their first grade of high school. Results showed that students with higher preference to social mastery goal experienced more intimacy in peer relationships. No gender differences were found in social mastery goal, whereas significant gender differences were found in both social performance approach and avoidance goals; Girls showed higher scores in these goals than boys. Aggression had full mediation effects on the pathway of social mastery goal to isolation, whereas it showed partial mediation effects on the pathway of the social performance avoidance goal to negative peer relationships. Implications for future research and intervention were discussed.
