성격특성이 진로결정수준과 고용가능성 간의 관계에서 셀프리더십의 매개효과에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Mediating Effects of Self-leadership in the Relationship between Personality Traits Career Decision Level and Employability

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대구경북 대학생의 성격특성, 진로결정수준과 고용가능성 간의 관계에 대해 살펴보고, 더 나아가 이들 관계에서 셀프리더십의 매개효과에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 구체적으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성격특성과 진로결정수준 및 고용가능성 간의 영향관계에 대한 분석을 실시한 결과 성격특성이 진로결정수준 및 고용가능성의 주요 요인으로 작용한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 진로결정수준뿐만 아니라 고용가능성에도 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타남으로써 직업 혹은 진로에 대한 태도를 형성하는데 있어 개인의 성격특성이 갖는 중요성을 다시금 입증해 주었다. 둘째, 성격특성이 진로결정수준과 고용가능성 간의 관계에 대한 셀프리더십의 매개효과에 대한 분석을 실시한 결과 성격특성과 진로결정수준 및 고용가능성 간의 관계에서 셀프리더십이 중요하게 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 대상을 대구경북 경영학과 2, 3학년만을 대상으로 한정시켰으므로 전체 경영학과 학생들의 연구결과를 일반화시키는 데는 한계가 있고 연구대상자들이 직접 자기보고식의 설문에 답하였기에 자료수집과정에서 질문의 인식과 주관적 해석에 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 문제로 자료의 객관성 확보에는 한계가 있다. 그리고 본 연구에서 다루었던 성격특성변수 외에도 다양한 성격변수들을 고려함으로써 보다 심층적이고 일반화된 연구결과를 도출해야 할 것이며, 여러 가지 조절변수를 고려하여 연구를 진행하는 것도 바람직 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study purposed to examine the relationships among personality trait, career decision level, and employability in university students in the Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk.do areas, and to analyze the effects of self-leadership on the relationships. The results of analyses in this study are as follows. First, in the results of analyzing the influential relationships among personality trait, career decision level, and employability, personality trait was found to work as a major impact factor of career decision level and employability. It was found to have a significant positive effect not only on career decision level but also employability, and this finding reconfirmed the importance of individuals`` personality trait in building their attitude toward job or career. Second, in the results of analyzing the mediating effects of self-leadership on the relationship among personality trait, career decision level, and employability, self-leadership was found to have a significant effect on the relationships among personality trait, career decision level, and employability. As this study limited its subjects to 2nd- and 3rd-year university students majoring in Business Administration in the Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk.do areas, so its results have a limitation in being generalized. Because the subjects answered the questionnaire in a self-reporting way, moreover, there could be problems in the objectivity of data due to the subjects`` subjective understanding of the questions during the survey. Furthermore, we need to draw out more in-depth and generalized outcomes through considering various personality variables in addition to personality trait covered in this study, it will be desirable to include various mediating variables in future research.
