대학생이 지각하는 사회유대감과 자율성이 학교생활적응과 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향: 대인관계문제를 매개로 = The Effect of Sense of Social Connectedness and Autonomy on College Adjustment and Subjective well-being among University students: Testing a Mediation Effect of Interpersonal Problems

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study examined the relationship of the sense of social connectedness, autonomy to college
adjustment and subjective well-being among college students. The sense of social connectedness and
autonomy were assumed as one of fundamental human needs, which seemed more important during
college life. In testing the structural model, the variable of interpersonal problem was assumed to become
mediator in relation of the sense of social connectedness and autonomy to college adjustment and
subjective well-being. That is, those who with a high sense of social connectedness and autonomy would
experience lower interpersonal problems than their counterparts, which effect in a higher degree of college
adjustment and subjective well-being. As expected, the sense of social connectedness and autonomy showed
significant positive effects on the college adjustment and subjective well-being. Also, the interpersonal
problem played a partial mediator role in explaining the relationship between the sense of social
connectedness and subjective well-being. The present study implied the importance of the sense of social
connectedness and autonomy to develop intervention programs for successful adjustment in college.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사회유대감과 자율성이 대학생의 대학생활적응과 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향력
을 살펴보았다. 사회유대감과 자율성은 인간의 기본적인 욕구로 개인의 사회적 발달과 안녕
감에 영향을 미치는데, 특히 대학생의 심리적 분리와 사회와의 연결성을 유지해야 하는 발달
기적 과업과 대학에서의 변화된 환경에 적응하는데 필요한 특성이다. 사회유대감과 자율성은
개인의 인지구조체로 사회적 정보처리 및 감정, 행동에 영향을 줄 것이므로 대인관계에서의
문제 정도가 사회유대감과 자율성에 의해 영향을 받으며, 결과적으로 대학생활적응과 주관적
안녕감에 영향을 줄 것으로 가정하여 대인관계문제를 매개적인 역할을 탐색하였다. 서울 소
재 종합대학교 재학생으로부터 수집된 자료를 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석
결과 사회유대감, 자율성이 대학생활적응과 주관적 안녕감을 예측하는데 유의하였으며, 사회
유대감과 주관적 안녕감과의 관계에서 대인관계문제가 부분적으로 매개역할을 하는 것으로
나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 학생들의 성공적인 대학생활을 위한 프로그램을 구성하고 운영하
는데 학생의 유대감과 자율성을 높이는 일이 중요함을 시사한다.
