한국유학생활 적응에 대한 지방대학 몽골 유학생의 인식 유형 연구

본 연구는 한국유학생활 적응에 대한 지방대학 몽골 유학생의 인식을 심층적으로 탐색하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 문헌연구와 심층면접을 통해 총 344개의 진술문으로 구성된 Q 모집단을 구축하였으며, 분류과정을 거쳐 34개의 진술문을 Q 표본으로 선정하였다. 지방대학 몽골 유학생 31명을 대상으로 Q 분류를 진행하였으며, 최종 27개의 Q 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 그 결과, 한국유학생활 적응에 대한 지방대학 몽골 유학생의 인식 유형은 총 3개로 확인되었다. 1유형은 ‘한국문화 수용을 통한 적응형’, 2유형은 ‘몽골인 간의 유대를 통한 적응형’, 3유형은 ‘한국어 실력 향상을 통한 적응형’으로 명명하였다. 본 연구결과는 지방대학에 재학 중인 몽골 유학생의 관점에서 한국유학생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인을 심층적으로 파악하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 또한 모든 유형에서 몽골인 서포터 제도가 한국유학생활 적응에 도움이 되었다는 연구 결과를 바탕으로 지방대학 내 몽골인 서포터 제도의 확대 시행을 제안하였다. The study focused on exploring the perception of Mongolian students at local universities about their adaptation of study abroad life in South Korea. Q population consisting of a total of 344 statements was constructed by literature research and in-depth interviews. Through the sorting, 34 of the statements were selected as final Q samples. The Q sorting was conducted by 31 Mongolian students attending local universities, and the final 27 Q sort data were used for analysis. The results were classified that there is a total of three types of perception among Mongolian students at local universities regarding adaptation to study abroad life in Korea. Type 1 was referred to as ‘adaptive through acceptance of Korean culture’, type 2 was called ‘adaptive through bonding between Mongolian’. The third type was named ‘adaptive by improving Korean skills’. This study has the meaning that understands the factors which affect adaptation study abroad in Korea from the perspective of Mongolian students attending local universities. It also proposed the expansion of the Mongolian supporters system in local universities, based on the study results that the Mongolian supporters system in all types helped adapt to the life of a study abroad in Korea.
