Kim, Ju-Yeon,Ko, Gyung Hyuck,Lee, Young-Joon,Ha, Woo-Song,Choi, Sang-Kyung,Jung, Eun-Jung,Jeong, Chi-Young,Ju, Young-Tae,Jeong, Sang-Ho,Hong, Soon-Chan Foundation of Clinical Oncology ; Oxford Universit 2012 Japanese journal of clinical oncology Vol.42 No.11

Sonic hedgehog is produced in gastric epithelial cells and plays a crucial role in parietal cell function and the regulation of gastric epithelial cell differentiation. Emerging evidence suggests that the sonic hedgehog pathway is not only involved in the development of cancers but also in their progression and aggressiveness.

The association between perceived social support and continued smoking in cancer survivors.
Yang, Hyung-Kook,Shin, Dong-Wook,Park, Jong-Hyock,Kim, So-Young,Eom, Chun-Sick,Kam, Sin,Choi, Jae-Hyuk,Cho, Be-Long,Seo, Hong-Gwan Foundation of Clinical Oncology ; Oxford Universit 2013 Japanese journal of clinical oncology Vol.43 No.1

With the increased survival rate of cancer patients, positive changes in health behaviors, including smoking cessation, are becoming progressively more important. While studies in the general population have demonstrated the beneficial effects of high perceived support of smoking cessation and continuing abstinence, few studies have addressed such issues in cancer survivors. We examined the factors related to continued smoking among cancer survivors with specific attention given to the role of perceived social support.

Systematic lymphadenectomy for survival in patients with endometrial cancer: a meta-analysis.
Kim, Hee Seung,Suh, Dong Hoon,Kim, Mi-Kyung,Chung, Hyun Hoon,Park, Noh Hyun,Song, Yong Sang Foundation of Clinical Oncology ; Oxford Universit 2012 Japanese journal of clinical oncology Vol.42 No.5

The efficacy of systematic lymphadenectomy is controversial for improving overall survival in patients with endometrial cancer. Thus, we performed a meta-analysis comparing the efficacy for overall survival between systematic and unsystematic lymphadenectomies.
