Reliability analysis methods have been employed in this study to determine the safety index β for flexure associated with reinforced concrete designs that are in accordance with current USD code of Korea. In reliability analysis, the mean first-order second-moment methods are employed. The following specific conclusions can be drawn from this study; 1) Levels of safety for reinforced concrete design, measured by β, vary from 2.8 to 3.8 in flexure depending on the limit state, the ratio of live load to dead load and the uncertainties. 2) Target reliability βassociated with reinforced concrete beams in flexure is assumed to be 3.5~4.0 in Korea. 3) Load factors and resistance factors in flexure associated with the current provisions contained in USD code generally seem to be too high. The writer concluded the factors as following; □=0.8, □=1.1 □=1.75
Eigenanalysis 法에 依한 現地應力 測定値의 解析

A strain gage relief technique was used to determine the magnitude and directions of a virgin principal stresses, but the values measued in the same borehole are always not consistent. This paper has shown the use of the eigen analysis to achieve precise and reliable principal stress from measured values. The best fit stress ellipsoid to the data has been obtained through consideration of direction cosine of each principal stress.

The conclutions arrived at as a result of experimental work are as follow; 1.The use of kerosene as a collector was found essential to produce a good recovery of chalcopyrite, galena and zincblende under the condition of high pH(below 2). 2.Temperature doesn't seemingly effect the flotation of chalcopyrite, galena and zincblende. 3.The minimum concentration of kerosene as a collecter was 26mg kerosene per liter of solution.

Schwartz-christofel transformation has been widely used to solve engineering problems. In this paper, this transformation is used to calculate topographic problems. Any two points of z-plane are transformed into ε-plane by Schwartz-Christofel transformation using calculator.
Dy₂ Co(7)-H System에서 水素의 Desorption에 관한 硏究

A Kinetic model of desorption of hydrogen in Dy₂Do??-H system has been suggested and rate equation of each step of the model has been compared with experimental results. The rest controlling step was hydrogen recombination in metal surface. The activation energy of over-all reaction was about 23kcal/mole.

A study has been performed on the effect of TMT(thermomechanical treatment) on the mechanical properties of steel and aluminum alloys. Improvement of the mechanical properties on steel by HTMT is due to refinement of prior austenite grain size, martensite lath size and the distribution of ine carbide precipitates and on aluminum alloy by ITMT is due to grain size refinement, homogeneous distribution of small second phase particles and retardation of the recrystallization.

Polycrystalline silicon layers have been deposited by a chemical vapor deposition technique using SiCl₄, H₂gas mixture on single crystal silicon substrates. In this work, the effects of depostion temperature and total flow rate on the deposition rate of polycrystalline silicon are investigated. From the experimental results it was found that the formation reaction of polycrystalline silicon was limited by surface reaction and mass transfer controlled as the deposition temperature was increased. The morphology of polycrystalline silicon layer changed from a fine structure to a coarse one as the deposition temperature was increased.

This study was to investigate the basic research about Adriamycin production from Streptomyces peucetius var. caesius. sireptococcus pyogenes(YUFE 2204) was sensitive against Adriamycin and its MIC value was 3. 125㎍/ml. Several mutants were isolated by UV-light. Among 325 mutants, Streptomyces peucetius var. caesius YS-107 was showed highest productivity of Adriamycin.
高麗靑磁의 形態分析 : 梅甁의 均齊性 硏究 The Symmetry Study on the Maebyong

The typical characteristic shape of the Koryo inlaid celadon Maebyong was reviewed and the symmetry of S curve was analyzed by the method of geometric basis. The contours of Maebyongs sampled were drawn and divided with geometric rectangular proportion. The analytical results showed the static and dynamic symmetric of the vase and the ratios of height and base of the rectangles established for the analysis of their shapes were almost 1:1, 1:() and 3:5(known as the Golden Ratio). The excellent beauty of the curve was principally caused by the balanced and harmonius division of the proportional rectangles. The contour line was developed along with the logarithmic spiraal modified and introduced lately into the shape of Yi dynasty's liquor bottle.
