      • 粘性土의 反復壓密特性에 關한 硏究

        Up until today, there are not a few problems to be applied in the course of the analysis of consolidation characteristics of cohesive soil under repeated loads. As this consolidation is belived to occur on road subgrades as well as on railway bases when the latters are under traffic loads, in the ground under periodic stresses of oil tanks, docks, and occur on clay layers under fluctuating condition through ground -water-level, the consolidation sinkage is not the same as that of static stress. This consolidation sinkage is understood to be designed in the light of repeated stress.

      • 왕겨를 利用한 活性炭素의 製造에 關한 硏究

        The adsorptivity of active carbon is influenced by its manufacturing conditions namely, activation temperature, activation time, size of carbon particle, and activation agents. By varying these conditions, the author has investigated the adsorptivity of the active carbon prepared by the chaff which is widely produced thr oughout our country. When the chaff is heated at about 900C for 1.5~2.0 hours, the active carbon showed the best adsorptivity, and it was found that the mixtures fo ZnCl2-HCl, and ZnCl2-H3PO4 were the best activating agents comparing with various other kinds of agents. The electron microscopic observations for some of these products were also made. In addition, the relationshif between solid surface acidity and adsorpt-ivity, or bulk density and adsorptivity was examined.

      • INVESTIGATION ON THE ORIGN OF THE SURFACE INDICATION OF PETROLEUM IN THE HAENAM AREA

        1958年 全羅南道 海南郡 黃山面 牛項里 海床에서 처음으로 油徵이 發見되었다.그런데, 그 油徵의 成因에 對하여서는 2가지 理論이 있다. 그 理論의 하나는 油母頁岩에서 由來된 것이라는 設이다. 그리고 다른 하나는 그 油徵은 地下의 oil pool 근원에서 渗出된 것이라는 것이다. 비록 牛項浦 海床에 露出된 油徵現象이 微弱할지라도 우리는 그 油徵을 높이 平價해야할 것이다. 그것은 무엇보다도 우리나라에서 石油 한 방울 生産되지 않기 때문이다. 石油의 成因과 露出狀態등을 綜合的으로 考察한 結果 海南의 油徵은 地下 oil pool 根源에서 渗出된 地表에 露出된 것이라고 생각되어진다. 海南油徵 母層을 分析한 日本 石油資源會社의 "大韓民國 油徵地岩石試料報告"에 依하면 ① 海南의 油徵적은 液 Chromatographic Analysis에 依하면 D1에 屬한다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 , 日本秋田油田의 西山層과 天德寺層의 灰色泥岩과 같은 母岩型으로서 그 品位는 低位型이다. ② 海南油徵의 Potentiality는 6.140이다. 이 數値는 日本 秋田油田地帶의 石油母岩의 Potentiality와 比較하면 相當히 높은 便이다. 卽 液 Chromatographie Analysis에 依한 質的內容과 Potentialitydp 依한 量的內容을 通하여 해남유징 海南油徵 은 優秀한 石油母岩으로 取扱할 수 있다. 要約하면 質的으로는 低位하나 量的으로는 높은 置를 가지고 있다. T.O.E 海南試料<秋田福米澤試料 C.K. ?? > ?? 그러므로 海南 牛項里 海床에 露出된 油徵을 石油地質 床學的으로 硏究調査한 것과 또는 化學分析으로 얻은 그 結果는 그 油徵의 成因은 地下의 Oil pool 根源에서 渗出된 油液이 地層의 Trap에 疑結된 現象이라는 것이 判明되었다. The oil seepages were first found in 1958 on the sea-bed of Uhangri, Hwangsan-myun, Haenam-koon, Chullanam do (province) However, there are different theories to each other on the origin of the oil seepages. One is the theory that the oil seepages in Haenam are derived from kerogen shale. The other is that the oil seepages are exuded from the sources of the underground oil pool. Though the oil seepages exposed on the sea-bed of uhangri are insignificant, we must highly evaluate it. That is because there has never been produced a drop of petroleum in Korea. The oil seepages in Haenam area exuded on the surface as a surface indication of petroleum could be found in Pakistan too. On the contrary, comparing the shale oil with the oil seepages of Haenam, it is convinced theoretically that the oil seepages of Haenam are different from the shale oil. The Japan Petroleum Resources Development Corporation analyzed the oil seepages mother rock of Haenam and reported "the report on the rock sample of oil seepages field in korea." According to it: ① The Haenam oil seepages come under D₁by liquid chromatographic analysis. And so the Haenam oil seepages come under the mother rock like the gray mudstone of Nishiyama and Tendock formation in Akita oil field in Japan and low grade type. ② The potentiality of Haenam oil seepages is 6,140. This is considerably higher than the potentialty of petroleum mother rock of the zone of Akita oil field in Japan. Summing up qualitative contents by the liquid chromatographic analysis and the qualitative contents by potentiality, the Haenam oil seepages can be taken an excellent petroleum mother rock. In brief, Haenam oil seepages are low grade in quality but high in quantity. T.O.E. Haenam sample < Hukumisawa sample C.K. ?? > ?? According to the chemical analysis and the investigation in the light of petroleum deposits on the seepages exposed on the sea-bed of Uhangri in Haenam, the origin of Haenam seepages proved to be the phenomenon that the liquid oil exuded from the oil pool is condensed in the trap of Haenam formation.

        Refactory materils are indispensable to furnaces as well as furnaces are indispensable to metallurgy , It is very important to select proper refractory materials which are necessary to furnaces & their accessary equipments for producing steel-goods from iron ores. In this thesis 1 first of all considered merits and defects of refraerials materials on the way of present use and then studied furnace materials proper to that, expeeting that furnace smelting operation is much changed in future. I think it is nelessary to study the choice & manufacture of furnace materiais which sujt best to smelting operations.

      • 切削加工面의 殘留應力에 관한 硏究

        This research aims to get rid of the defective factors that residual stress has effects on machining parts and to produce better and preciser machining parts, from examining clearly the effects of residual stress occurring in cutting operation. Here we studied the fundamental theory of stress and its occurring causes with dividing into two parts : single bite cutting and multiple bite cutting. In single bite cutting , we studied and compared the relation of occurring causes of residual stress when planing and turning of carbon steel(C:O .45%), and using a bite of gradient angle, positive and negative. In multiple bite cutting , according to grinding condition we classified the variety of the residual stress into C, O, and T-form and then investigated the followings. 1. the effect of the hardness of being cut-material on grinding-residual stress. 2. the effect of the rate of grind-stone on the residual stress-distribution of grinding surfaces. 3. the effect of the rate of tools on-the residual stress-distribution of grinding surfaces. 4. the effect of the inserting depth of grindstone on the grinding-residual stress distribution. 5. the effect of the hardness of grindstone on the residual stress.

      • Transistor의 증폭회로에서의 burst noise와 異常現象과의 관계

        We have investigated burst noise and anomalous phenomena in plannar transistor, which we believe to be related to the noise. From this investigation, it is pointed out that some transistors which show the burst noise hase a channels, which connect an emitter and a collector, through the base. It is speculated in this paper that this channel may be an " impurity diffused pipe" produced along dislocation. Experiment results show that the burst noise of caused by such channel in some cases.

        Here I considered counter-measures of the defects that occurred in spheroidal graphite iron castings by Mg-inoculation. 1. As for pinhole, we must diminish Mg-contents, slow down solidification speed, and keep H2 gas from forming & penetrating into molten metal. 2. As for dross, we must decrease O2, S contents of molten metal before inoculation and prevent molten metal from oxidizing during pouring.

      • 光州地方에 있어서 最適確率降雨强度式의 誘導

        The purpose of this study is to acquire the short-time Rain-fall Intensity Probability Formula by way of Order Statistology and Probability Theory through analysis of rainfall recording papers of the meteorological observatory of Kwang-ju, Korea. In acquiring the formula stated above, the auther used the basic formulae of I = a/t +b, I = a/t +b, I=a/ + b by utilizing Logarithmic Normal Distribution Method, TAKASE Method and Gumbel-Chow Method. In each case Most Probable Values were used. In acquiring constants, the least square method in probability was applied through X²-test. The results will be able to be used in calculating Flood Amount of small rivers and Run-off Amount of storm sewage of sewerage planning in the district of Kwang-ju.
