        SIMULTANEOUSLY CATALYTIC REMOVAL OF NOx AND SOOT ON RARE EARTH ELEMENT OXIDE LOADED WITH POTASSIUM AND TRANSITION NANOSIZED METAL OXIDES

        The simultaneous catalytic removal of NOx and soot over the rare earth element (REE) oxide-based mixture oxides loaded with potassium and transition nanosized metal oxide (designated as M/K/REE oxide) was investigated by using temperature-programmed reaction (TPR). The influence of the type of REE oxides together with the type and amount of transitional metal oxides on the catalytic removal activity was discussed. K/Nd2O3 was found to be the most active oxide among the REE oxides to simultaneous remove the NOx and soot under lean conditions. Chromium oxide was more active than the other transition metal oxides on enhancing the activity of soot oxidation of Nd2O3 loaded with potassium. The optimum loading level of chromium was about 10 wt%, with ignition temperature at about 237°C and the conversion ratio NO → N2 about 24.1%. The Mn-loading on K/Nd2O3 resulted in the biggest conversion efficiency of NO to N2 at about 30.2%. The increasing catalytic reaction of NOx–soot activities is attributed to the formation of complex crystalline phase in the catalyst together with the improving contacting between catalysts and soot.

        A Case Study on Cost Control Based on Value Chain : Focusing on the Case of Chinese FH Dairy Company

        [연구목적] 낙농업에 대한 중국정부의 관련 정책에 따라 낙농기업의 경영환경은 점점 더 복잡해지고 다양해지고 있다. 이러한 경영환경의 변화에 직면한 낙농기업들은 대부분 과거에서부터 해오던 기초적인 원가통제 단계에 머물러 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가치사슬에 기반한 원가 통제를 낙농기업에 적용하여 이에 대한 개선방법을 사례연구를 통해 제시하고자 한다. [연구방법] 본 사례연구에 대한 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존 연구와 이론을 바탕으로 중국 FH 낙농 회사의 원가관리 현황을 분석하여 원가와 예산관리에 대한 문제점을 찾아 낸다. 둘째, 가치 사슬 원가통제를 도입하기 위한 중국FH 낙농기업의 외부 가치사슬과 내부 가치사슬을 각각 분석하여 두 가치사슬의 연결을 통한 부가가치를 모색한다. 마지막으로, 중국FH 낙농기업에 대한 합리적인 개선 방안을 제안한다. [연구결과] 중국 FH기업은 외부 가치사슬의 원가통제를 위해 정보수집, 판매경로 확대, 경쟁적 우위에 대해 관심을 두어야하며, 내부 가치사슬의 원가통제를 위해서는 원가예산시스템의 최적화, 원가통제방법의 개선, 원가통제의 범위 확대가 요구된다. [연구의 시사점] 현재 중국 모든 기업들이 겪고 있는 지속적인 인건비 상승, 원자재 확보의 어려움, 전력부족뿐만 아니라 특히, 유제품 회사의 경우 최근 고비용 시대에 접어들어 기업발전에 큰 장애물이 되고있다. 본 연구의 결과는 효율적인 원가통제를 위한 새로운 접근방법을 제시함으로써 중국 유제품 회사의 합리적인 원가통제 개선 방안을 제공하고 있다. [Purpose] According to the relevant policies of the Chinese government on dairy farming, the business environment of dairy enterprises is becoming more complex and diversified. Most of the dairy companies facing these changes in the business environment remain in the basic cost control stage that they have been doing in the past. Therefore, in this study, cost control based on the value chain is applied to dairy companies and an improvement method is presented through a case study. [Methodology] In this study, we propose a cost control based on the value chain in this way were applied to FH Chinese companies. The contents of this case study are as follows. First, based on existing studies and theories, the cost management status of Chinese FH dairy companies is analyzed to find problems in cost and budget management. Second, we analyze the external and internal value chains of Chinese FH dairy companies to introduce value chain cost control, respectively, and seek added value by linking the two value chains. Finally, we propose a reasonable improvement plan for Chinese FH dairy enterprises. [Findings] In the cost control of the external value chain, it should pay attention to information collection, broaden sales channels and establish competitive advantages. In the cost control of internal value chain, it is necessary to optimize the cost budget system, improve the cost control method and broaden the scope of cost control. [Implications] In addition to the continuous rise in labor costs, difficulties in securing raw materials, and power shortages that all Chinese companies are currently experiencing, dairy companies in particular have recently entered an era of high costs and are becoming a major obstacle to corporate development. As a result, it is necessary to find a new approach for effective cost control of enterprises. In this study, we propose a cost control based on the value chain in this way were applied to FH Chinese companies.

        Weighted composition operators on Bers-type spaces of Loo-Keng Hua domains

        Let $\mbox{HE}_I$, $\mbox{HE}_{II}$, $\mbox{HE}_{III}$ and $\mbox{HE}_{IV}$ be the first, second, third and fourth type Loo-Keng Hua domain respectively, $\vp$ a holomorphic self-map of $\mbox{HE}_I$, $\mbox{HE}_{II}$, $\mbox{HE}_{III}$, or $\mbox{HE}_{IV}$ and $u\in H(\M)$ the space of all holomorphic functions on $\M\in\{\mbox{HE}_I, \mbox{HE}_{II}, \mbox{HE}_{III}, \mbox{HE}_{IV}\}$. In this paper, motivated by the well known Hua's matrix inequality, first some inequalities for the points in the Bers-type spaces of the Loo-Keng Hua domains are obtained, and then the boundedness and compactness of the weighted composition operators $W_{\vp,u}:f\mapsto u\cdot f\circ\vp$ on Bers-type spaces of these domains are characterized.

        Improved Electrochemical Performance of Polyindole/Carbon Nanotubes Composite as Electrode Material for Supercapacitors

        Polyindole/carbon nanotubes (PIN/CNTs) composite was prepared byan in-situ chemical oxidative polymerization of indole monomer withCNTs using ammonium persulfate as oxidant. The obtained compositematerial was characterized by SEM, TEM, FT-IR, Raman spectroscopy,XPS, XRD and BET surface areas measurements. It was found that theCNTs were incorporated into the PIN matrix and nanoporous structurewas formed. Spectroscopy results showed that interfacial interactionbonds might be formed between the polyindole chains and CNTs duringthe in-situ polymerization. PIN/CNTs composite was evaluated byelectrochemical impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry andcharge/discharge tests to determine electrode performances in relation tosupercapacitors properties in both aqueous and non-aqueous system. Amaximum specific capacitance and specific volumetric capacitance of555.6 F/g and 222.2 F/cm3 can be achieved at 0.5 A/g in non-aqueoussystem. It also displayed good rate performance and cycling stability. The specific capacitance retention is over 60% at 10 A/g and 91.3%after 5000 cycles at 2 A/g, respectively. These characteristics point to itspromising applications in the electrode material for supercapacitors.

        Temporary formation of highly conducting domain walls for non-destructive read-out of ferroelectric domain-wall resistance switching memories

        Erasable conductive domain walls in insulating ferroelectric thin films can be used for non-destructive electrical read-out of the polarization states in ferroelectric memories. Still, the domain-wall currents extracted by these devices have not yet reached the intensity and stability required to drive read-out circuits operating at high speeds. This study demonstrated non-destructive read-out of digital data stored using specific domain-wall configurations in epitaxial BiFeO<SUB>3</SUB> thin films formed in mesa-geometry structures. Partially switched domains, which enable the formation of conductive walls during the read operation, spontaneously retract when the read voltage is removed, reducing the accumulation of mobile defects at the domain walls and potentially improving the device stability. Three-terminal memory devices produced 14 nA read currents at an operating voltage of 5 V, and operated up to T = 85 °C. The gap length can also be smaller than the film thickness, allowing the realization of ferroelectric memories with device dimensions far below 100 nm.

        논문(論文) : 中國當代官場語詞特點分析

        중국의 관료체제가 형성된 지 벌써 2000여년이 되었다. 당나라 때 과거제도를 실시한 이래에 중국은 점차 유교적 교육을 받아들이는 지식인을 위주로 한 관료사회와 관료 문화를 형성하였다. 관료적 언어와 어휘는 관료들의 교류 방식과 관료문화의 중요한 체제로서 중국 관료 문화의 일정한 특징을 체현해 내고 있다. 총체적으로 보면 관료적 언어와 어휘는 차별성을 갖추고 있으며, 감정적 색채가 농후하다. 자주 어휘의 본의를 왜곡하는가 하면 어휘의 내함과 외형을 바꾸기도 한다. 어기조사가 많고 어의가 정확하지 않아 모호하고 언어의 표현 형식이 경직되어 있으며, 전문술어와 학술술어를 상용하여 공식화 되어 있다. 또한 형식화가 심하여 상투어와 빈말이 많고 어휘의 감정적 효과를 중시하는 등의 특징을 가지고 있다. 이러한 관료적 어휘가 형성된 것은 관료 문화가 이루고 있는 기반과 맥을 같이 하는 것이고, 이는 모두 사회정치 체제와 역사문화의 영향에서 기인한 것이다. 또한 ‘5·4 신문화운동’이 비록 문언문을 없애기는 했지만 관료문화가 탄생한 문화적 기초인 봉건적 관료 중심의 문화는 철저한 비판과 개혁이 없었고, 또한 당시 중국의 특수한 당파 정치문화는 권력이 고도로 집중되어 있어서 민주적이면서도 감시·감독하는 정치 체제가 미비하여 특정 사람에게 의탁하는 정치체제를 가지고 있었기 때문이기도 하다. 관료적 언어어휘와 말투는 현대사회에서 상당한 부작용을 가지고 있다. 이는 업무 효율을 저하시키고 민중들의 불만을 불러일으키게 하며 사회가 조화롭고 안정되는 데에 이롭지 못한 영향을 끼치면서 인터넷, 신문, 텔레비전, 광고 등의 대중매체를 통해서 급속하게 기타 사회계층으로 확산되어 가고 있다. 관료어휘는 중국 정치 문화의 기본 특징들을 반영하고 있기 때문에 현재 보다 절실하게 개혁을 필요로 하는 언어체계이다.

        Static and free vibration analysis of shallow sagging inclined cables

        Based on link-model, we conducted a static analysis and computation of a three-span suspended cable structure in the present paper, and obtained the static configuration and tension distribution of the cable. Using the link and beam model based on finite element method, we analyzed the vibration modal of three-span suspended cable structure, and compared with the results obtained from ANSYS using link and beam element. The vibration modals of shallow sagging inclined cables calculated from proposed method agrees well with ANSYS results, which validates the proposed method. As a result, the influence of bend stiffness on in-plane natural frequencies is much greater than that on out-of-plane natural frequencies of inclined cables.

        <P>We demonstrate a four-user 10-Gb/s spectrally phase-coded optical code-division multiple-access system via nonlinear processing with ultralow power (/spl sim/30 fJ/bit). Full interference suppression is achieved in a time-slotted scheme without the need for chip-level coordination and synchronous detection. Performance degradation caused by pulse overlap between users is investigated.</P>

        Abietane Diterpenoids from Perovskia atriplicifolia and Their Anti-HBV Activities

        Bioassay-guided phytochemical investigation on the 90% EtOH extract of Perovskia atriplicifolia resulted in the isolation of eight abietane diterpenoids, including three new ones (1–3). Based on spectroscopic methods involving 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy techniques, mass spectrometry, and optical rotation, the structures of the new compounds (1–3) were unambiguously characterized. Compounds 1–2 and 4–8 were evaluated for their anti-HBV (hepatitis B virus) activity in HepG 2.2.15 cell line. Results suggested rosmadial (8) had the most anti-HBV potency, suppressing the secretion of HBsAg and HBeAg, with IC50 values of 0.09 and 0.34 mM, respectively.
