        지속가능한 패션을 위한 융합적 리디자인 연구

        본 연구는 패션 산업에서 지속가능한 발전이 강조되고 있는 배경에 따라 환경오염의 문제를 인식하고 해결방안으로서 융합적 리디자인의 적용 방법과 디자인 유형을 마린 세르의 사례를 통해 시류를 파악하고 그 현상을 이해하고자 하는 관점에서 시작되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 지속가능한 패션디자인의 관점에서 리디자인의 개념과 특성을 이해하고 정립하는 것이다. 둘째, 마린 세르의 디자인 사례를 조사 및 선정하여 분석하여 리디자인 사례를 유형화 한다. 셋째, 따라서 본 논문은 패션 산업에서 지속가능한 발전을 위한 방안 제안으로서 융합적 리디자인 관점에서 마린 세르의 디자인 특성 도출을 이행하였다. 연구 방법은 이론적 연구와 사례연구를 병행한다. 이론적 연구를 위해 문헌과 선행연구를 바탕으로 본 연구의 관점에서 리디자인을 재정의하고, 마린 세르의 2018년 SS-2021년 SS 시즌별 컬렉션 사례를 조사 및 수집하여 리디자인을 유형화 한다. 연구 내용에 따른 결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 패션에서의 지속가능한 디자인 방안으로서 리디자인은 자원을 절약하고 버려지는 폐기물의 감소를 실천 할 수 있는 디자인 방안으로 실효성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 마린 세르는 지속 가능한 패션디자인을 브랜드철학으로 강조하며 유행성과 대중성을 가진 창의적인 리디자인 사례를 선보이고 있었다. 셋째, 지속가능한 패션을 위한 리디자인 관점에서 마린 세르는 리사이클, 리유즈, 리듀스의 디자인 특성으로 나타났다. 이에 따른 연구 내용을 종합하면 마린 세르의 리디자인 패션은 리사이클된 독특한 소재와 부품 사용과 해체와 재구성을 통한 창의적인 디자인 감각이 더해져서 하나뿐인 독창적인 디자인을 나타낸다. 그리고 버려진 폐의류와 재고의 리유즈는 보는 이에게 흥미를 갖게 하여 새로운 감성을 유발한다. 또한 리사이클과 리유즈를 통해 창출되는 리듀스는 버려지기 전의 기능과 시간적 가치가 재창조 되어 새로운 디자인 가치를 창조한다. 마린세르는 그동안 지속가능한 패션디자인의 실천에서 다소 미진했던 럭셔리 브랜드의 미래 지속가능한 디자인에 대해 나아갈 방향을 제시하고 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 미래 관련 후속 연구의 기초 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다. This study aims to recognize the problem of environmental pollution and understand the current situation through Marine Serre"s example of how to apply convergent redirection and design type as a solution in accordance with the background of sustainable development in the fashion industry. The purpose of this study is, first, to understand and establish the concepts and characteristics of redirection from a sustainable fashion design perspective. Second, we investigate and select design cases of Marine Serre and analyze them to type the re-design cases. Third, we derive the design characteristics of Marine Serre from the perspective of convergent re-design as a proposal for measures for sustainable development in the fashion industry. The research method combines theoretical and case studies. For theoretical research, we redefine the redirection from the perspective of this work based on literature and prior research, and type the redirection by investigating and collecting Marine Serre"s 2018 SS-2021 SS season-specific collection cases. The results of the study are as follows. First, as a sustainable design method in fashion, redizain has been shown to be effective as a design method that can save resources and practice the reduction of discarded waste. Second, Marine Serre emphasized sustainable fashion design as a brand philosophy, presenting creative re-design examples with fashions and popularity. Third, from a redesign perspective for sustainable fashion, Marine Serre has been shown to be the design characteristics of recycle, reuse, and reduce. Considering the findings, Marine Serre"s redesign fashion represents a unique, one-of-a-kind design with the addition of a unique recycled material and creative design sense through parts use, dismantling and reconstruction. And Reuse of discarded waste clothing and stock makes viewers interested, creating new sensibilities. In addition, re-cycles and re-use-generated re-creation of pre-disposal functions and time values create new design values. Marine Serre is offering directions for the future sustainable design of luxury brands, which have been somewhat lacking in the practice of sustainable fashion design. Based on these findings, we hope to be used as the basis for future-related follow-up studies.

        Effect of Fluorescence Light on Phenolic Compounds and Antioxidant Activities of Soybeans (Glycine max L. Merrill) during Germination

        Effects of light on phenolic compounds and antioxidant activities during germination of soybean seeds were studied. Soybean seeds were germinated in the presence and absence of light. Chlorophylls and morphological characteristics of sprouts were evaluated daily. Antioxidant activities were determined using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH) and ferric reducing activity power methods. Morphological characteristics of light-grown sprouts were superior to dark-grown sprouts and the metabolism of phenolic compounds was regulated by light. Light treatment improved accumulation of phenolic compounds in soybean sprouts and increased antioxidant activities. The optimum harvest time of light-grown sprouts was on the seventh day when sprouts achieved the best nutraceutical value. Green sprouts can serve as a good vegetable source for the human diet.

      • Molecular Analysis and Expression Patterns of the 14-3-3 Gene Family from Oryza Sativa

        The ubiquitous family of 14-3-3 proteins functions as regulators in a variety of physiological processes. Eight rice 14-3-3 genes, designated OsGF14a through h, were identified from an exhaustive search of the genome database. Comparisons of deduced amino acid sequences reveal a high degree of identity among members of the OsGF14 family and reported Arabidopsis 14-3-3 proteins. A phylogenetic study indicates that OsGF14s contain both $\varepsilon$ and non-$\varepsilon$ forms, which is also confirmed by a structural analysis of OsGF14 genes. Furthermore, transcripts of OsGF14b, OsGF14c, OsGF14d, OsGF14e, OsGF14f and OsGF14g were detected in rice tissues. Their different expression patterns, the different effects of environmental stresses and plant hormones on their transcription levels, and the different complementary phenotypes in yeast 14-3-3 mutants not only indicates that OsGF14s are responsive to various stress conditions and regulated by multiple signaling pathways, but also suggests that functional similarity and diversity coexist among the members of OsGF14 family.

      • Decreased Expression of FADS1 Predicts a Poor Prognosis in Patients with Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

        FADS1 (fatty acid desaturase 1) plays a crucial role in fatty acid metabolism, and it was recently reported to be involved in tumorigenesis. However, the role of FADS1 expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remains unknown. In the current study, we investigated the expression and clinical pathologic and prognostic significance of FADS1 in ESCC. Immunohistochemical analyses revealed that 58.2% (146/251) of the ESCC tissues had low levels of FADS1 expression, whereas 41.8% (105/251) exhibited high levels of FADS1 expression. In positive cases, FADS1 expression was detected in the cytoplasm of cells. Correlation analyses demonstrated that FADS1 expression was significantly correlated with tumor location (p=0.025) but not with age, gender, histological grade, tumor status, nodal status or TNM staging. Furthermore, patients with tumors expressing high levels of FADS1had a longer disease-free survival time (p<0.001) and overall survival time (p <0.001). Univariate and multivariate analyses revealed that, along with nodal status, FADS1 expression was an independent and significant predictive factor (p<0.001). In conclusion, our study suggested that FADS1 might be a valuable biomarker and potential therapeutic target for ESCC.

      • Effect of Hormone Therapy on Long-term Outcomes of Patients with Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2-and Hormone Receptor-Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer: Real World Experience in China

        Background: Among human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive breast cancer, more than half are also hormone receptor (HR)-positive. Although HR is a predictive factor for the efficacy of hormone therapy, there are still some uncertainties in regard to the effects on patients with HR-positive and HER2-positive metastatic breast cancers due to the potential resistance to hormone therapy caused by co-expression of HR and HER2. There are no clinical trials directly comparing the efficacy of hormonal therapy with chemotherapy. Materials and Methods: To examine the real-world effect of hormone therapy on patients with HR-positive and HER2-positive metastatic breast cancers, a cross-sectional study of a representative sample of the Chinese population was conducted. The study included 113 patients who received first-line and second-line palliative treatment between 2005 and 2010 in the Cancer Institute and Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Science. The effect of hormone therapy on overall survival (OS) was studied. Results: The patients who received hormone therapy (n=51) had better overall survival in contrast to those who received chemotherapy with anti-HER2 therapy (n=62) in first- or second-line treatment. The difference was of borderline statistical significance (51.8m vs 31.9m, p=0.065). In addition, the effect of hormone therapy did not differ significantly with other prognostic factors, including age (${\leq}50$ years or >50 years), disease free survival (${\geq}2$ years or < 2 years) and site of metastasis (visceral or bone/soft tissue). On multivariate analysis, administration of hormone therapy was associated with a trend toward a favorable prognosis (p=0.148, HR=0.693, 95%CI 0.422-1.139). Age more than 50 years was the sole independent harmful prognostic factor (p<0.001, HR=2.797, 95%CI 1.676-4.668). Conclusions: Our data suggest that hormonel therapy may improve outcomes of the patients with ER-positive and HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer.

        Molecular cloning and expression analysis of the first two key genes through 2-C-methyl-D-erythritol 4-phosphate (MEP) pathway from Pyropia haitanensis (Bangiales, Rhodophyta)

        Pyropia haitanensis (T. J. Chang et B. F. Zheng) N. Kikuchi et M. Miyata is one of the most commercially useful macroalgae cultivated in southeastern China. In red algae, the biosynthesis of terpenoids through 2-C-methyl-D-erythritol 4-phosphate (MEP) pathway can produce a direct influence on the synthesis of many biologically important metabolites. In this study, two genes of cDNAs, 1-deoxy-D-xylulose-5-phosphate synthase (DXS) and 1-deoxy-D-xylulose-5-phosphate reductase (DXR), which encoding the first two rate-limiting enzymes among MEP pathway were cloned from P. haitanensis. The cDNAs of P. haitanensis DXS (PhDXS) and DXR (PhDXR) both contained complete open reading frames encoding polypeptides of 764 and 426 amino acids residues, separately. The expression analysis showed that PhDXS was significant differently expressed between leafy thallus and conchocelis as PhDXR been non-significant. Additionally, expression of PhDXR and its downstream gene geranylgeranyl diphosphate synthase were both inhibited by fosmidomycin significantly. Meanwhile, we constructed types of phylogenetic trees through different algae and higher plants DXS and DXR encoding amino acid sequences, as a result we found tree clustering consequences basically in line with the "Cavalier-Smith endosymbiotic theory." Whereupon, we speculated that in red algae, there existed only complete MEP pathway to meet needs of terpenoids synthesis for themselves; Terpenoids synthesis of red algae derivatives through mevalonate pathway came from two or more times endosymbiosis of heterotrophic eukaryotic parasitifer. This study demonstrated that PhDXS and PhDXR could play significant roles in terpenoids biosynthesis at molecular levels. Meanwhile, as nuclear genes among MEP pathway, PhDXS and PhDXR could provide a new way of thinking to research the problem of chromalveolata biological evolution.

      • Associations Between XRCC1 Arg399Gln, Arg194Trp, and Arg280His Polymorphisms and Risk of Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma: A Meta-analysis

        Background: Associations between Arg399Gln, Arg194Trp and Arg280His polymorphisms of the XRCC1 gene and risk of differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) have been widely studied but the findings are contradictory. Methods: We performed a meta-analysis in the present study using STATA 11.0 software to clarify any associations. Electronic literature databases and reference lists of relevant articles revealed a total of 10, 6 and 6 published studies for the Arg399Gln, Arg194Trp and Arg280His polymorphisms, respectively. Results: No significant associations were observed between Arg399Gln and DTC risk in all genetic models within the overall and subgroup meta-analyses, while the Trp/Trp vs Arg/Arg and recessive model of the Arg194Trp polymorphism was associated with DTC susceptibility, and the dominant model of Arg280His polymorphism contributed to DTC susceptibility in Caucasians. Conclusions: Our meta-analysis suggests that XRCC1 Arg194Trp may be a risk factor for DTC development.

        Overexpression of cholinergic receptor nicotinic gamma subunit inhibits proliferation and differentiation of bovine preadipocytes

        Objective: Muscle acetylcholine receptors have five alpha subunits (α, β, δ, ε, or γ), and cholinergic receptor nicotinic gamma subunit (CHRNG) is the γ subunit. It may also play an essential role in biological processes, including cell differentiation, growth, and survival, while the role of CHRNG has not been studied in the literature. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to clarify the effect of CHRNG on the proliferation and differentiation of bovine preadipocytes. Methods: We constructed a CHRNG overexpression adenovirus vector and successfully overexpressed it on bovine preadipocytes. The effects of CHRNG on bovine preadipocyte proliferation were detected by Edu assay, cell counting Kit-8 (CCK-8), real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), Western blot and other techniques. We also performed oil red O, RT-qPCR, Western blot to explore its effect on the differentiation of preadipocytes. Results: The results of Edu proliferation experiments showed that the number of EDUpositive cells in the overexpression group was significantly less. CCK-8 experiments found that the optical density values of the cells in the overexpression group were lower than those of the control group, the mRNA levels of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), cyclin A2 (CCNA2), cyclin B1 (CCNB1), cyclin D2 (CCND2) decreased significantly after CHRNG gene overexpression, the mRNA levels of cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor 1A (CDKN1A) increased significantly, and the protein levels of PCNA, CCNB1, CCND2 decreased significantly. Overexpression of CHRNG inhibited the differentiation of bovine preadipocytes. The results of oil red O and triglyceride determination showed that the size and speed of lipid droplets accumulation in the overexpression group were significantly lower. The mRNA and protein levels of peroxisome proliferator activated receptor gamma (PPARγ), CCAAT enhancer binding protein alpha (CEBPα), fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4), fatty acid synthase (FASN) decreased significantly. Conclusion: Overexpression of CHRNG in bovine preadipocytes inhibits the proliferation and differentiation of bovine preadipocytes.
