On a Detection Scheme for Weak Deterministic Signals in Non-Additive Noise

A parametric detection scheme for determenistic signals is obtained in a generalized observation model which contains non-additive noise. The model employed in this paper includes several special cases such as those describing purely-additive noise, multiplicative noise, and signal dependent noise and allows the consideration of deterministic and random signals. Locally optimum detectors for known deterministic signals in the model are derived and analyzed for performance. It is shown that the locally optimum detectors are interesting generalizations of those for the purely-additive noise model. Performance of the locally optimum detectors designed for the generalized observation model is compared to that of other common detectors.
Server-Side 방식의 상황 인식 기반 선박 USN 미들웨어 구현 및 설계

본 논문에서는 해양 환경의 특성을 고려하여 선박 환경에 적합한 방식으로 Server-side 방식에 따른 선박 USN 미들웨어를 구현하였다. 다중 질의 처리 모듈에서는 선박USN에 구성된 다차원 센서 스트림 데이터를 효율적으로 처리하기 위해서 최적화된 질의 계획으로 Mjoin 질의와 해쉬 테이블을 이용한 최적화 방법을 제시하고 모듈을 구성하였다. 상황 인식 관리 모듈에서는 해양의 특성을 고려하여 선박의 상황을 인식하고 관리하는 방법을 제시하였고 SVM 알고리즘을 이용하여 위험 상황을 판단하였다. 제안한 SVM 알고리즘을 이용하여 각 상황별로 5,000 건의 데이터를 입력 받아 실험한 결과 화재 상황과 선체 위험상황에 대한 평균 정확도는 87.5%, 85.1%를 보였고, 측정 결과를 전송하여 선박 USN 모니터링 시스템을 구현하였다. In this paper, We implemented vessel USN middleware by server-side method considering characteristics of ocean environment. We designed multiple query process module in order to efficient process multidimensional sensor stream data and proposed optimized query plan using Mjoin query and hash table. This paper proposed method that context aware of vessel and manage considering characteristics of ocean. We decided to risk context using SVM algorithm in context awareness management module. As a result, we obtained about 87.5% average accuracy for fire case and about 85.1% average accuracy for vessel risk case by input 5,000 data sets and implemented vessel USN monitoring system.

몇몇 실제적인 경우에 나타나는 선형 여파기의 단점을 보완하기 위해, robust 추정량의 하나인 순서 추정량에 근본을 둔 비선형 여파기를 구현하였다. 특히 WIlcoxon여파기와 확장 WIlcoxon여파기의 특성을 조사하였고, 이상적인 edge 입력 및 좁은 pulse입력에 대한 이들 여파기의 성능을 분석 검토하였다. In order to overcome the disadvantages of linear filters in certain cases of practical interest, a class of nonlinear filters(rank filters) are constructed based on a class of robust estimates, the rank estimates. A subclass of these filters, the limited-degree extended-averaging Wilcoxon filters, is then described as an interesting example of the rank filters with desirable characteristics. The properties of these filters are discussed and the performance of these filters are analyzed for ideal edges and narrow pulses.
Average Rate Performance of Two-Way Amplify-and-Forward Relaying in Asymmetric Fading Channels

A two-way relaying (TWR) system is analyzed, where two source terminals with unequal numbers of antennas exchange data via an amplify-and-forward relay terminal with a single antenna. In the system considered herein, the link quality between the sources and relay can generally be asymmetric due to the nonidentical antenna configuration, power allocation, and relay location. In such a general setup, accurate bounds on the average sum rate (ASR) are derived when beamforming or orthogonal space time block coding is employed at the sources. We show that the proposed bounds are almost indistinguishable from the exact ASR under various system configurations. It is also observed that the ASR performance of the TWR system with unequal numbers of source antennas is more sensitive to the relay location than to the power allocation.
