Numerical study of fly ash deposition process in low temperature economizer under SCR conditions

After the boiler of a thermal power plant in Nanjing was reformed for denitrification, the clogging of flyash particles occurred near the support beam of the economizer. The critical speed criterion under different workingconditions was constructed by Fluent custom code (UDF), and the change of fly ash deposition on the support beamof the economizer was simulated without ABS and with ABS. At the same time, the influence of the fin layout structureon the movement of smoke and fly ash particles was analyzed. The results show that the stagnation of fly ash particleson the supporting beam is the main cause of sediment clogging. Due to the production of ABS in the process ofdenitrification, the adhesion of fly ash particles is intensified. At the same time, the fin structure on the support beamhinders the lateral movement of fly ash particles, which causes the growth of clogged fly ash near the support plate. Onthis basis, an optimization plan for the fin structure is proposed, which improves the flue gas flow conditions andavoids the occurrence of clogging and growth of fly ash.

An RNAi construct for silencing FtsZ genefunctioning on plastid division in higher plants was transformedinto tobacco genome. Sequencing of the flankingsequences of the T-DNA insertion site in a positive transgenicplant 2-3, which showed wildtype phenotype,revealed that the construct had rearranged, resulting inconvergent transcription of nptII gene by 35S promoter andnos promoter with both transcripts expressing at low level. Although it is possible that the sense and antisense transcriptscan form dsRNA, they did not trigger silencing ofnptII gene derived from a FtsZ silenced plant 2-12 in thecrossed plant 2-392-12. Furthermore, although smallinterfering RNA can trigger DNA methylation of thesilencing locus, our investigation revealed that the crossedplant 2-392-12 showed partial methylation of the nonsilencingtransgene locus but full methylation of the nonrearrangedsilencing locus, suggesting that the efficiency ofRNA-directed DNA methylation is associated with itsoriginal DNA locus.
Improved Robust Passivity Criteria for Delayed Neural Networks

This paper investigates the robust passivity problem for neural networks with uncertain system parameters and a time-varying delay. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, ensuring the negative definiteness for the derivatives of the developed Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) is necessary in order to derive a passivity criterion. Anegative condition on the cubic polynomial over a certain interval is developed in this paper, which introduces someslack matrices to obtain an advanced negative condition. Taking advantage of this condition, an augmented LKFwith more system state and delay function information, including several augmented vectors and a single-integralbased term, is constructed. Then some improved passivity criteria for delayed neural networks are derived on topof the proposed LKF and the negative condition. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the obtained passivitycriteria are validated on two numerical examples.
Polygonumnolides A1–B3, minor dianthrone derivatives from the roots of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb

Seven new dianthrone glycosides, named polygonumnolidesA1–B3 (1–7), were isolated from the 70 %EtOH extract of the dried roots of Polygonum multiflorumThunb. using column chromatography and preparativehigh-performance liquid chromatography. Their structureswere determined by 1D and 2D NMR and mass spectroscopy. The isolated compounds were evaluated for theircytotoxic effects against KB tumor cell lines and compounds1–4 showed moderate cytotoxicity.
